Great NY bagels. Still hot and just the right crust/chewey consistently. We had PopUp the day before and they were too airy.

Crappiest most inexplicable service at a city bagel shop. Slow, disorganized and inefficient. Good bagels.

The bagel was nice but found it a bit over hyped and not sure why the premium price. It was overly crowded and there is very little place to sit. We just got a take away in the end.

Honestly, the bagels both looked and tasted delicious. I got the hot pastrami and it was so good. I’m a tourist, and the bagel definitely didn’t disappoint.
My only concern was during dine-in: it wasn’t busy, but the tables were dirty and felt unsanitary. I’d recommend that the staff stay more on top of maintaining cleanliness.
Overall, great food, just needs better attention to the dining area.

Tal Bagels is always located on a corner, which makes it a great spot. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows bring in tons of natural light, and you can see everything clearly from the outside, which already gives a good first impression.
Once you walk in, everything runs smoothly. The crew is clearly well trained, organized, and efficient, and you can tell the place is well managed. The food is fresh, tasty, and consistently good.
Overall, it’s easily one of the best café and bagel spots on the Upper East Side, reliable quality, great flow, and a solid neighborhood staple.

Great bagels, but they’re heavily prioritizing delivery orders on the weekend. No orders taken from a long line of customers for 10 min, everyone just watching a dozen delivery orders get prepared. Also may be the most expensive bagel in NYC. Recent interior refresh looks great though so I’m not saying it’s not justified.

You know what ? Very good salmon bagel but 21$ for a bagel?!!?!?
Too expensive in my opinion but freshly cut salmon was good
Also too much of a wait time for no reason

Bagel is some of the worst I’ve had in the city. It is thin, way too crunchy, and too much cream cheese. That being said, the service and atmosphere was lovely.

Just moved to the neighborhood and wanted to grab something quick from a nearby corner spot — ended up getting the pastrami bagel combo to go from Tal Bagels.
Honestly… nothing else to say, just look at the photos.
The pastrami is super tender, stacked insanely high, perfectly seasoned, and the whole thing just hits SO hard. Way better than I expected for a random quick stop.
Absolutely delicious. This is definitely going to be one of my new go-to spots.

Flavorless bagels, inedible bacon. They have vegan cream cheese but when I ordered it the employee had no idea what I was talking about. Supervisor seemed to have to tell her what vegan was. They then forgot about the side that I ordered so I had to wait for that too. And most of the tables were dirty.

The bagels have been hard the past few times I’ve been and service is slow and unfriendly. Received the worst bagel I’ve ever had today.
