Had a chicken noodle soup just now. As I was sitting on the side by the coffee stand a medium size RAT crawled by me. This was inside the restaurant, by the seating area. The guy next to me also saw it but didnt seem too phased by it. Never coming here again. It’s actually an NYC issue and I’m sure this isnt the only food spot with mice.
The staff applogized and started looking for the rodent immediately after i pointed it out. Happened around 3:40pm today if your manager wants to take a look..

For the past 3 Sundays after Mass Ive gotten Pastrami sandwiches from the Tal Bagel shop. The first time I got a Pastrami sandwich from them it was good. But the next Sunday after Mass when I got another Pastrami Sandwich I noticed that my sandwich didn’t have as much pastrami as the first time. This morning after Mass I got a Pastrami sandwich that was made with the butt end of the Pastrami. I watched the worker take a big block of fresh Pastrami off the slicer and then instead took the end part of the Pastrami that was nothing but DRY FAT and made my sandwich. I notice that each time I’ve gotten a sandwich from TAL BAGEL it’s made by a different worker. This morning, in addition to the Pastrami sandwich being horrible, I had to ask the server to change is gloves when I noticed that he was playing with someone on his glove. The act itself was disgusting. He claimed he he had changed his gloves but I didn’t see that he did. When I got home with my sandwich and saw how my sandwich looked, I returned to TAL BAGEL with the sandwich and demanded my money back. I also took a picture of the worker who made my Pastrami sandwich. I won’t be going back to this establishment ever again.

Worst bagel I have ever had. It was flat, burned, and hard as a rock. No way to eat the bottom half of the sliced bagel-- it would have broken a tooth. Went to the trash.

Can’t seem to get an order right even if their life depended on it. Even after repeating it to them several times. The worst part is they’re not even apologetic about it and actually seem annoyed if you call them out about it and ask them to fix your order. Just do it right the first time then!
Staff are rude and weird just like other comments mentioned.
Despite standing in line the entire time with a baby, I was not asked if I’d like to order anything. When I was ready to order a grab-and-go bagel at the cashier, she couldn’t be more rude and impatient. What’s more hilarious is that the customer behind me asked me to go to the back of the line, which felt extremely unfair and discriminatory.
After I ordered my bagel and paid, I was surprised to see the cashier apologize to the woman who had wrongly accused me, which made the whole situation feel even more uncomfortable. It’s disappointing to experience such treatment, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. Avoid unless you fit in their typical group of customers

They get our order wrong every single time we come in - we order not toasted, and then they toast it. When you ask them to correct this, they are rude. Also, it is super disorganized environment with the line all throughout the place.

Why do they insist on overcooking every single one of their bagels? Not just this location, but all of the Tal Bagel locations. It's such an unpleasant taste (and smell). I also don't understand why everyone hypes them up as having "great" bagels but the truth is, they aren't soft or doughy whatsoever. Overpriced, rude service, terrible bagels. What is the appeal? So many superior places in the neighborhood to get bagels from.

$27 For a bagel and lox with the smallest orange juice known to man is robbery. Also, the food was terrible. The smoked salmon was extremely oily which is weird, the scallion cream cheese tasted funny and he gave me 50,000 pieces of ONIONS. Overall, I couldn't finish my breakfast and wasted my money on this.

Horrible, I don't really know what we did but they treated us terribly. We ordered some coffees, they made a mistake with the order, they didn't give us a ticket and they started ignoring us. When we complained, they began to yell at us and shout at each other, arguing loudly, a pitiful spectacle. And from what I see in other comments, it must be frequent.

THIS PLACE IS SUCK ORDERING MY PLAIN BAGEL WITH EGG AND CHEESE, AND THEY KEEP ON PUTTING BACON I DO NOT EAT BACON ITS NOT ONLY FIRST TIME HAPPENING AT THIS LOCATION IM SURE THEY ALL OPIRATE SAME WAY!!! THE STAFF SUCK!!!
Ordered salmon & tofu on a bagel. Came out to $25. Plus the juice, a little over $30. Didn’t get an itemized receipt. You should head over to H&H Bagels or Sable’s Smoked Fish instead! If it’s ToGo, there’s also Popup Bagels right around the corner. You have a lot of other choices in the area to get better quality NYC bagels at a better cost. Here you’re just paying for the rent, minus the customer service. Wouldn’t recommend to friends visiting the city. Note: coffee is self serve, really doing the bare minimum here.

Difficult to order because items and their prices are not clear and organized well. Be prepared and somehow figure out this beforehand.
