Good bagels, good vibes, ok price. Speedy bagel making but extremely slow cashier (just one on a busy Sunday morning?!)

The pricing scheme is ridiculous. A quarter pound of whitefish is $7.95 and a bagel is $2.25. Why is a whitefish bagel $13.95???

Opted for the cheapest option and got out of there.

Go to bobs on 86 and york instead for huge bagels with reasonable pricing.

These bagels are tasty, but the staffs attitude and overall vibes of the place dampen the experience. The seasoning and cream cheese is super tasty, but it is hella expensive!

I have been here forever a few times. This time, I got a poppy seed bagel toasted with lox and plain cream cheese. It was pretty delicious, and the amount of lox was quite generous. The cream cheese was also nice. The bagel tasted good as well. However, it was quite small and was probably the most expensive bagel I’ve had so far. The same items usually cost me between $14-18, and I paid $20.64 for this tiny thing. Anyway, it was a nice bagel, but I probably won’t order my favorite combo at this location. The staff were okay.

Decent bagel. They need to spread the cream cheese better.

We love coming to the tall bagel on 88th and Lexington. Always friendly, excellent food, and a great ambience. One of our favorite things to do when we start the day.

I can't speak English at all, but they kindly listened to my order. However, depending on the timing, there can be long lines, so if you don't speak English, I think it's better to prepare in advance by showing a photo. The cream cheese here is absolutely delicious! ! !

While there are many bagel shops in New York City, Tal Bagels remains my favorite place, especially for their FLAT EVERYTHING bagels! And if you get them toasted with butter, your stomach will thank you!

Ridiculous business practices. Losing customers to the newly opened, piping hot and fresh Popup Bagels. Yet, instead of maintaining value, makes decision to increase prices for the third time in a year. Now $2.25 for a single bagel that was $1.40 a couple of years ago (60% increase, well above inflation rate). Cream cheeses bagel $3.15 -> $5.25 (66% increase). Charging same price as fresh hot bagels from Pop Up. Competition should lower prices, not increase. NYC bagel cartel. Or silly Manhattanites not mindful of the value of their dollars.
