These tamales taste like home in the best way possible. I’m so glad they added a few small tables so I can enjoy them in the middle of my walk.

I ordered raja y queso, pollo en mole, and a champurrado. Perfect winter snack!

Best tamales and oatmeal or rice drink. I go to the north east corner 116th street and Lexington avenue location (with the large blue umbrella). You have to come pretty early; she runs out by 10 AM. Lupita is usually here everyday besides Monday morning at around 7 or 8 AM. She accepts credit card also. No tax with cash. Credit card has tax (3 non-spicy chicken tamales and large drink is $12.52.
