I’m a regular here and I live right down the block, but what happened last week was honestly unacceptable. I came in, sat at the bar, and ordered a drink from the bartender. While I was sitting there, I watched the waitress, Nablia, tasting multiple drinks with a straw before serving them. That is extremely unsanitary and totally unprofessional.
Then I asked a manager named Gabriel for a menu so I could order takeout, and he completely ignored me. It genuinely felt like he was offended because I noticed and said something about the waitress tasting people’s drinks.
For a manager to act like that is very disappointing. I’ve been supporting this place for a while, but this experience really changed how I feel and won’t ever return

My friends and I came in tonight and had an AMAZING experience, the place was busy and hopping, (which for the food quality is extremely warranted) and we still received great service, and quick and delicious food!!! I had the enchiladas, my friends had burritas and a quesadilla! I would totally recommend this place to anyone near Union Square lookin for good food and drinks without breaking your piggy bank! It was LESS THAN $50 for THREE PEOPLE!!!!

I say this having been a server, recently, 4 times over in my life- we had the most rude, hostile waiter with glasses and curly blonde hair I have ever experienced. I work in restaurants, I understand there are off days and a myriad of circumstances at play. There were 4 empty tables, we had paid our check, and our waiter could not have been more crude, rude, slamming drinks down, slamming checks down, not asking what drink we wanted next but just leaving and giving us whatever they felt like, telling us “I need you to leave” instead of just communicating they needed us to move a table or so down in order to join tables together. We had to be the ones to take a pause and ask them “hold on, what is the problem here so we can understand why you are so angry” ; I’ve never left a bad review about a food establishment but we were so dumbfounded; idc how bad a shift you’re having, this behavior was diabolical and mean.

I hate to give this restaurant this review for customer service because i always recommend people to come especially for the bartender JO but their new server judy has the worse attitude and just does not mix with the vibe and energy pf this place she slams things rolls here eyes and actually made me mot want to stay and im a frequent visitor....

I love this place I always come here! but was a bit disappointed with the worker Judy I believe that’s her name. I had a bad service with her & wasn’t happy at all especially because I love this place so much & always recommend people to come here :(
Place was Aesthetically pleasing. The menu didn’t have a wide variety of options. Grateful for complimentary chips, lamb tacos were 6/10. I should’ve inquired but unsure if they have soft tacos available, but I’m positive you should bring your own ketchup for those who amor that with most meals. No hennessy available either.

Fantastic tacos at $4!!!! Super worth it. Highly recommend the fish and steak. The steak is sooo good. And the fish is citrusy with a zing to it. Great service and friendly staff! Margarita was great too. Definitely the best tacos place so far.

Placed an order on Seamless for Plato’s. Seamless gives an option to select no rice no beans and no cheese. I pick no beans, in comment I wrote just rice no beans. I get to the restaurant to pick up the food, there’s a gentleman by the bar end cutting lime and asked me if I needed help. I said yes I’m here to pick up. I picked up my food and as I’m walking out he wanted to speak to me and tell me that rice does not usually come with my dish, and that they did me a favor this time and included rice, he said this to me while pointing a knife at me that he was using to cut the limes. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional but felt menaced as he was within 1 foot of me while speaking to me like you did me a favor. How you doing me a favor? How about I’m doing your business a favor by eating there. I even explained to him seamless gave the option. So change it on seamless that’s not my problem. That’s a YOU problem. You could’ve just told me sorry it doesn’t come with rice so we didn’t include it in your order, or matter fact, you could’ve contacted me via phone through seamless. Ridiculous, and I’ve eaten here in the past with no issues, I’ve ALWAYS gotten rice with my order. Never had an issues until that day. Will be my last time eating here. Try to do the right thing by eating local, there are other taco spots else where.

The best tacos in Manhattan. Take note, these are Mexico City style tacos. I am from Mexico City. Expect them to be different but 100% authentic. So delicious. Try all of them. They have cabeza and lamb. The steak also so very good. The service is excellent. Genuine, attentive and friendly. I often order take out but the bar/restaurant is also a great experience Thank you for always feeding me great food and offering great hospitality.
