I was a bit skeptical when I saw the place. But to my surprise, the food was very authentic and tasty. First mexican restaurant that I go to in NY that makes their own tortillas. This is a big deal. Also, the lengua tacos (tongue) were very richly served and amazing. Don't be intimidated by the location, focus on the food and I promise you won't regret.

The food trash (everything soggy) the horchata/flan is worst (aguao colta rancid), and it came mad late. Basura ???. Waste of money. I shoulda known something was up when they said they aint have churros. Untrustworthy vibes. Made a mistake, meant to order from el gallito ??♂️

Terrible service, the lady is not friendly at all and the food was very poorly served. I ordered a roast beef jerky and I only received the meat, rice and beans. I asked for the salad and she told me that I had to pay for it. The truth is, I didn't like the way it was served. I received very bad service ?????????

The food is awesome. The lady who takes the orders is really nice. It's hard to open the door because of the wind and they're pretty busy with the deliveries most nights but honestly the food is worth it. I always get the hard tacos and their awesome.

The lady who serves takes every comment in a bad way. My husband and I went to place an order, I entered first and if I noticed that it was very hot inside and there was a bad smell, I didn't say anything because I wasn't going to stay inside and wait. And my husband came in and told him that it was hot and the lady (who I found out is the owner) took it very badly and almost ran us out. I waited for my order outside along with my husband. That was the first and last time I went in and ordered from there. He even makes a bad face at the customer. It should not be like that with clients, because of them your business continues. He doesn't know how to take constructive criticism.

I ordered the chorizo nachos and they were absolutely DELICIOUS & fresh! (I feel the need to mention I am Mexican) The servings were generous and priced reasonably for what you get. The salsas also had a really good flavor, will definitely come back!

This is my go to taco spot in the neighborhood for sure. Large portions, reasonable prices and delicious food. I tend to order their chicken, carnitas and lengua tacos. Yes they are stingy with the green sauce but I just buy a large green sauce at the supermarket and enjoy the tacos very happily drowned in green sauce and lime juice, just the way I like them! Oh and pay with cash so you don’t get charged a bit extra for using card. The people who work here have always been friendly and professional so good customer service in my experience as well.
Good food but only gives one small sauce per order. If you want another sauce they will charge you a dollar for it. So stingy with the sauce for no reason.
