We were looking for an authentic taco spot walkable from Penn Station before going to the Knicks game. This place did not disappoint. The chipotle punch was excellent, perfect mix of smokey and sweet. We had ordered the squash blossom quesadillas as a starter but all the food came out at once which was still ok. The quesadilla was a pass, couldn't put my finger on it but the taste wasn't there. The tacos on the other hand were spot on. My husband got the Birria tacos and I got the shrimp tacos. Both were loaded, very flavorful and super authentic. While we got there relatively early, place packed out as we were leaving. Would definitely recommend and come back
Great and unique cocktails, just the food is very plain especially considering the prices of the food.
Overpriced for not great food. We got nachos and rajas and half the rajas dish came out cold. The hot part was quite good though. The queso on the nachos was congealed when it arrived and the nachos generally lacked flavoring.

Great Margs & Tacos, but a bit pricey! The portions were a very good size. Two people could easily be satisfied by splitting the dip platter and 3 Tacos. The Birria Tacos were good but personally thought they could have had a bit more flavor. Al Pastor was tasty and came with a couple extra sauces.
The service was lacking, there was only two tables in the whole restaurant at the time we went and yet my water glass still set empty for most of our visit.
The atmosphere was great. We got a table in the corner facing the street and it was great to be able to people watch while we enjoyed our food.

Mediocre overpriced food, just okay drinks. My main complaint is 20% tips being included for party of 4, and server didn’t even mention that to us. First of all, congrats to cutting your tips. Second, assuming that we won’t tip because we speak another language besides English in NYC, really?

I came here on a Monday evening, just walked in and sat at the bar. Had good food and nice cocktails, service was there when I needed it and otherwise left me alone. While sitting here as a solo lady, another came in and sat a seat over to my left. She ordered a margarita, popped her airpods in, and pulled out a book. Yes Queen. Then, another Girl Boss (TM) came in and sat to my right. She pulled out her laptop while on a call. Service left her alone while busy, just dropped off water.
5/5 solo lady friendly. Great margaritas. Would recommend when you need a break from the patriarchy.
Vegetarian options: Quite a few choices.

TACO TUESDAYS done PROPER at this elevated Taqueria in West Chelsea! Great place for those local Taco lovers, an upscale but casual dining experience! Must try tacos: Camaron (shrimp), carnitas, and Birria!
Good happy hour deal! Monday - Friday from 3pm-6:30 or Sunday from 5pm-8pm! We loved the Butterfly and the Cilantro Crush.
Great tacos, guacamole and salsa

The service and the atmosphere of the restaurant is good, but the carnitas that I got didn't taste fresh or worth the money. I probably should have gone to chipotle. I did however get a nice hibiscus cocktail when I asked for a non-alcoholic drink.
Now it may have been a one time occurrence but I don't recommend the carnitas.

A gem in Chelsea. The bartender Cesar is super knowledgeable about tequilas from Mexico. I tried the best tequila that I have ever tried KAH - Great, smooth, additive-free tequila for the price of esplon and the tasteb of Clase Azule. Everyone should try this amazing place just for the teuqila alone.

It’s a pricey taqueria. The drinks are well made but not that boozy. Portion sizes are good, although the guacamole lacked flavour it was definitely fresh. The tacos are overstuffed, beautifully presented but the al Pastor that I had didn’t taste great - the pork was tough, as was the pineapple.
Service was fantastic. The atmosphere is just background muzak- there’s no real atmosphere to speak of.
