I booked an indoor table and they told me when we arrived that the was a mix up and sat us outside with no other tables around us. And their portions have gotten smaller and prices are $$$$. Used to be one of our neighborhood favorites but no longer:(

Good wine list by the glass. Salmon and chicken Milanese excellent. Cool jazz playing. Nice vibe. We liked food options on offer. Not just pasta. Charcuterie looked great. We'll try next time.

Mediocre food in a nice, quiet atmosphere. If you care more about the company and conversation than you do about the quality of the food, this place suffices for standard Italian fare.

Great little place, quiet (great for a conversation with an old friend), terrific menu. Recommend the Cesar salad (surprisingly, since salad is usually not the thing I'd say "wow" about, but WOW), and the Rum cake dessert. Oh, and the mains were also delicious!

A rainy, cool Tuesday night in May was brightened considerably by the kind welcome, good food, good wine and attentive service At Tarallucci. A pinza Romano to share, gnocchi, rigatoni and a surprisingly delicious roast chicken as main courses—the 3 of us were very contented. A very good bottle of Nero d'Alba, reasonably priced, mellowed the evening.

TEV/UWS does the most difficult thing in the restaurant business: provide a consistently excellent experience. The food is great, the service is wonderful and it's one of the better wine lists in town.

Alexsei was our server and was very attentive. He was always there when we needed him. Our table was not the best as it was near the stairway to the kitchen. Portions were rather small for the enormous amount of money we spent. Not even 8 ounces of pasta for a $36 Linguini Vongole. Well, you live and learn. The food was quite good, however. Wines by the glass were also very nice. I don't know if we will be back, but it was an interesting experience.

A favorite neighborhood spot - GREAT food, wine, ambiance. I'm there at least once a week!

This was one of the most perfect dining experiences I've had in a long time. The food is incredible and beautifully plated. Relaxed yet elegant dining room. And our server, a native Italian, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the food, it really enhanced our experience. He steered us toward a good pairing of dishes and we are glad we took his advice. I had the special pasta, a house made papardelle with shrimp and a white wine sauce that was so delicious I low-key embarrassed myself by moaning as I ate. 100% would eat here again!

What a lovely experience. The restaurant was intimate and welcoming. We had a cozy spot by the window and enjoyed the street view. Food was delicious. Will definitely come back when we are in the city again.

Server Max was efficient and task oriented. A bit more warmth and friendliness would have been appreciated. Meatballs appetizer was tasty for my husband and a bit over salted for me. Bolognese sauce was good. While the octopus portion of only two tentacles was a bit meager, it was delicious.

Service and food were excellent as always. The only problem is the relatively small space requires that the tables are in close proximity to each other. Due to that, if you have loud people at the next table, as we did, through no fault of the staff, it can have an effect on the overall dining experience.

I had the pleasure of dining at Tarallucci, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The menu offers a good selection of classic and modern Italian dishes, we started with spaghetti paired perfectly with the fresh tomato sauce and basil. For the main course, I had pollo - cooked to perfection with a rich, flavorful sauce that tasted like it had been simmering for hours. My friend got chicken milanese which was delightful. Also bread pudding was a great way to end the evening. The atmosphere is warm and inviting due to staff. My friend and I were greeted by Ari at the door, and Dillan and Aleksei made our experience fantastic. The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They even offered great wine recommendations to complement our meal. Overall, this place is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine. Whether you're looking for a cozy dinner for two or a lively meal with friends and family, this place delivers in every way. Can't wait to go back!
