We fancied a light brunch on our way up to the Broadway theatre for a matinee show of The Buena Vista Social Club and as we had enjoyed our brunch at the Tartinery café & bar in Greenwich Village last week, we decided to try their branch on Park Ave.
The café was very busy with a lot of office workers having lunch, however, we were shown to a small table for two without having to wait. The menu at this branch was very silmilar to the one at Greenwich Village, however, they didn't have the eggs benedict my wife really enjoyed there, so she had the avocado on toast with the additional of a soft poached eggs today, which she really enjoyed, and a latte. I went for the lunch combo deal of a delicious creamy chestnut & mushroom soup with a fantastic chicken salad petite tartine with celery & pistachio. We also ordered a very tasty ham & cheese croissant to share whilst we waited for our main courses.
We were served by a very friendly and helpful waitress and used the male & female toilets at the back of the café. There's also a takeaway counter near the entrance selling pastries & hot drinks to go.

The food, vibes, and service are exceptional! We ordered “Egg&Cheese Brioche” and “Chia Bowl” with “Citrus Juice”. It was awesome. Special thanks to Mr.Benjamin for his exceptional and kind service! He was smiling the whole time with timely service and attentive manners. Good luck and I would definitely come again!

Today, I had the misfortune of dining at this establishment. The employees were rude, and the manager, Ronaya, seemed to spend the entire time chatting with friends instead of managing. When I requested to speak with her about an issue, she refused to come over, forcing me to approach her to get her name. Regrettably, I will have to find a new place for my corporate spending. They aren’t good with big orders. So many mistakes were made. Even Starbucks offers better service.

Absolutely terrible experience. The staff here are incredibly rude and unprofessional. The menu is small and uninspired, and when I simply asked if they could make something as basic as eggs Benedict, I was cut off mid-sentence and told I was sitting at the “wrong table.” Apparently, the table for four people was off-limits to us, even though it was completely empty.

The waiter then escorted my wife and me to another area where every single table was already taken. Instead of offering a solution, he insisted that we should sit at the bar — even though we made it clear we came here to have a proper meal at a table, not to perch on barstools like second-class guests. The only remaining table was ridiculously small, yet somehow also “reserved” for four, and once again we were told we couldn’t sit there.

The whole interaction was humiliating and absurd. Rather than accommodating paying customers, the staff acted as though they were doing us a favor by even letting us inside. This is by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had anywhere. If you value basic courtesy, comfort, and decent service, avoid this place at all costs.

Terrible service, they ignore the delivery people. The delivery person spent more than 10 minutes trying to communicate with them and they ignored him. Terrible service.
