My favorite Hells Kitchen spot for a casual pre-show dinner. Love the Vegano vegetarian stew. Just have to remember not to fill up on tge tasty appetizers and yucca fries.

PLEASE READ! After successful 10 years, this place is closing at the end of April. Take the time to go and enjoy the food. If there is any investor interested in buying a business, please check this place. The restaurant has two good cooks and a talented crew. The owner is retiring.

So good. Go here. The service is great as well. I found my new favorite Ecuadorian food in NYC after 10 years of living here.

Excellent food and even better service, you must come and visit, eat and have a margarita made by Aluna, delicious and really enjoyed it. It is a very small place but you feel like home. Excelente trato, lugar acogedor muy familiar. Visítenlo lo recomiendo 100%

This place just has such a good energy about it, not to mention the excellent customer service and delicious food. Ñaño agrio cocktail is a MUST! There's a parking place a couple blocks away but a nice walk. A lovely, casual place to dine. Definitely, we will go again.

Came here with a group of 7 at the recommendation of a friend in the group. The restaurant is VERY small, but the accommodated us very kindly. We ordered pitchers of sangria and passion fruit, which were delicious and strong! I ordered the Muchines appetizer, which we all agreed was the best thing we ordered and worth the trip alone. The basil lemon aioli sauce was spectacular. Also notable was the Bolon Mixto. For dinner I tried the shrimp ceviche (against the reco of our fabulous server.) It was solid, but I see why he didn't recommend it, it needed more lime and flavor. Would def come here again for a fun group dinner, but make a reservation

We grabbed a bite before going to a theater a couple months back, and it was great. Enjoyed the outdoor space, good food, and the company of friendly staff. Hope to be back again!

Every time we visit NYC, we try new foods we've never had before. Nano was at the top of our list! Highly recommend getting reservations. The restaurant is tiny, but has outside seating. As someone from Tennessee, I have to say that sitting outside with traffic zooming by at 45 mph was nerve-wracking and terrifying. This caused us to eat our meal very quickly! But, nonetheless, the service was amazing and the waiter made us feel safe and comfortable. We tried the Canelazo (Ecuadorian hot toddy) and the regular margarita. Absolutely LOVED the Canelazo!!!! It was spicy and fruity and felt so warm on a cold night. We could have drank them all night and forgot about the traffic behind us. :) For appetizers, we had empanada de verde and muchines. Both were good, but very starchy. Our main course was the Seco De Pollo. All the flavors were complimentary!

If you want warm authentic food that tastes like it was home made, come here. This unassuming restaurant served delicious, aromatic, and flavorful food which warmed myself and friends up on a cold night. I got the chicken Tonga which came wrapped in a banana leaf so when you opened it you were greeted with the best smell and steam from the meal inside. The rice and chicken had a unique flavor profile because of the peanut sauce and spices added. The plantains on the side added a lovely sweetness to the dish. Would also highly recommend the empanadas verdes which are gluten free but still crispy and warm - you wouldn't know they are gluten free. The ambience was nice inside, however the space is very small, my part of 5 had to sit in the outside seating which was a bit cold but worth it for the food. If we were inside I think it would have been perfect, warm, and well decorated.

This restaurant is fantastic. It's a little hard to find, but well worth it. The food is amazing and reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We tried what felt like a little of everything on the menu and it all was delicious. It was really cold out so we started with a Canelazo (which they describe as a "traditional Ecuadorian hot toddy") and it was perfect - light cinnamon flavor, warmed us up and packed a punch. We then split three appetizers - the Empanada de Verde, Yapingachos and Ceviche. All were very good - the ceviche was fresh and flavorful. For dinner, my sister is a vegetarian and had the Vegano (vegetable stew) which was delicious and I had the Pollo Salteado - I will definitely return and order this again. My dad had the Churrasco, which was also very good. We asked for some hot sauce and they gave us some homemade hot sauce that was amazing - not too hot, but great flavor. Overall, we were really happy. The main dish portions are large, everything was cooked and presented well, and as I said above - the service was great. One final thing - if you want to go, I highly recommend getting a reservation (the restaurant is small and can fill up quickly).

One of the best resturants in Hells Kitchen and extremely underrated! Amazing and flavorful dishes! I have never had ecuadorian food before, and Nano's was an amazing introduction! On top of that, the service was AMAZING. Helped us know the best dishes to order and were extremely helpful and kind!
