TBaar, tucked inside a ramen shop near Columbia University, is one of those clever little combo spots—come for the boba, stay because you accidentally smelled the broth and now need noodles. It’s a practical setup: if you’re craving both a drink and a meal, this place ticks both boxes in one stop.

I came just for the strawberry & yogurt fruit tea, and while it wasn’t the most life-changing fruit tea I’ve had, it hit the mark for what I needed that day—light, refreshing, and exactly the kind of sip you want on a warm summer walk. Flavor-wise, it leaned more toward dependable than daring, but sometimes that’s all you need.

The catch? There’s no seating unless you’re dining in for ramen. So unless you’re slurping noodles, you’ll be taking your tea to go. Fair warning for anyone who imagined themselves settling into a corner with a straw and a long scroll through emails.

That said, the staff were lovely—patient and kind, even as I rethought my order more times than I care to admit. It’s the small things.

All in all: TBaar delivers a solid fruit tea fix, and it’s a bonus if you’re hungry for ramen while you’re at it. Next time, I’m coming with an appetite—and fewer second guesses.

Their mango crepe cake tastes like durian… not a fan. Passionfruit tea was delicious though.

Went around 5 PM and got the Thai iced tea with bubble. The bubble was so soggy and ruined the entire drink, by far worst tasting drink and had to throw it out. Waste of my money

The owner needs to really address the staff here.

We ordered a couple nights ago, and they messed up our order which has been happening. They sent over an orange tea drink instead of the orange mango smoothie. We called and talked to the gentleman and explained the situation and mentioned that this had happened many times prior. He assured us he will talk to staff, and to contact us when the drink we ordered is not available. We ended the convo and thought this possibly couldn’t happen again.

We ordered tonight, and you guessed it, they sent over the same wrong drink from a couple days ago. This business clearly doesn’t care about the customers, and doesn’t take our feedback seriously. We were basically lied to whoever by whoever picks the phone up over there at night. They also didn’t give us any straws for our drinks. We called and the man blamed the Uber eats driver and said it wasn’t their responsibility. He gave another poor excuse about the drink, but it’s just lies lies lies. I doubt he will talk to staff.

This place is a joke, stay away and save your money!!!!
