Although prices are a tad high, flavors are truly excellent and so is the tapioca. Sweetness is conservative, so you can bump your sweetness 25% higher than a typical boba shop. Not much seating.
Lavender black tea had a bit too much lavender (soapy taste)
Boba was chewy and not fresh. I don't think it was freshly cooked or kept in a warmer. The Signature Earl Grey Tea had more milk than tea.
Got their Brown Sugar Oolong Tea with Signature Cream and Brown Sugar Earl Grey Milk Tea with Signature Cream to go. I always appreciate free milk substitutions (lactose intolerance is a lifestyle at this point). I really liked how pronounced the tea flavors were and it wasn't too sweet at the regular sugar levels either. The prices are on the lower end compared to other bubble tea spots in this area.
Basement, come down the stairs take a left go to the Japanese grocery store and go in, it's one of the stands in the store. Great stuff
Located on the lower floor of Chelsea market inside the Asian supermarket, Tea and Milk is a cute boba stall. They have a variety of milk tea and fruit tea drinks, as well as some coffee options. Service was kind and quick.
I ended up ordering the Jasmine green milk tea with grass jelly and it was delicious. I got 30% sweetness and it was so light and refreshing, while still satisfying my craving for milk tea. Would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area!
Absolutely terrible!
This is the worst lavender tea I ever had. It tasted like soap water.
Got the roasted oolong which had a nice nuttiness.
Needs to be shaken before drinking so you get a good mix of the flavors!
Tea and Milk is tucked away on the underground floor of Chelsea Market—who knew it even had one after so many visits? It’s part of a small Asian market that also has a kimbap shop and an Asian bun shop.
I ordered the Strawberry Lychee (regular sugar, regular ice). It was a bit too sweet for my taste, so next time I’d go for less sugar. It also had a floral note, which I don’t usually love, but in this drink, it worked surprisingly well.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area, especially if you’re in the mood for bubble tea and exploring this hidden part of Chelsea Market!

Got the strawberry matcha latte. Pretty good. Not too sweet not too bland. However, wish they would’ve gave me more purée as advertised.
Fast & friendly service, hot or cold always refreshing.

Got the Chelsea and it was a normal strawberry milk. It had strawberry and it had milk.
Normal boba shop.

Great little hidden boba shop on lower level of Chelsea Market. Boba was delicious! We went twice during our trip to the city. It was that good. We tried the Thai tea and Earl Gray Black tea.
Good music 👍
