Our server was great. We went on a Sunday night and it was pretty quiet in there. The booths are cozy and have nice privacy.
Attentive wait staff great food. Kids ordered steak off the kids menu and it was good. Mom's sangria it the spot after long day of navigating the family vacation plans
Service was very good. If I had to be critical about anything I'd say the portions for each meal were a bit on the smaller side.
Delightful place to dine at before Radio City Music Hall! I had Snow Crest Grilled Chicken sandwich. Delicious! My friend had Bison Short Ribs. He loved it! And we had the most amazing Strawberry Shortcake for their Seasonal Dessert. HUGE! We'll be back!!
Ordered 8 oz filet to share with a crab cake as an add on. Steak came with the crab cake laying on top. Not a good flavor pairing! Steak was horrible so after one bite asked to return and pivoted to the short rib which came out pronto and was excellent. Had ordered a glass of wine to have with the steak which took way too long to arrive. The cook delivered the short rib was very apologetic and couldn't have been nicer. The bill arrived with steak removed and short rib added. No offer of any compensation for issue and never heard from a manager. PS: Had a phone call from the manager at Ted's which has never happened to me before. He had been out of town and the chef that was so prompt and apologetic was his stand in while away. He was most apologetic for our experience and hopeful we would give them another try. To encourage us he is sending a gift card for our next visit. Will definitely take him up on his generous offer. Thks so much!
Our server Brooklyn was outstanding. She was very attentive and on top of things as a great server should be. She made our time at Ted's most memorable. Ted's is tops in food and drinks. We ordered the Brick Chicken which was a huge portion. Very well presented and delicious. The atmosphere is really cool. Large dining room..Opt for a booth which looked cozy. We had the table for 4. Thank you again to Ted's and the staff. They were very aware of our time because we were seeing Ringo Starr at Radio City Music Hall which is conveniently located across the street. Use the entrance on 51st St and 6th if attending a show at Radio City...Less of a wait to get into RCMH.
Wrong levels of done-ness on burgers. Bison burgers appear significantly smaller than beef.
The overall service was outstanding. The menu was diverse and had many choices for our group. The overall taste of the food was average. Nothing to complain about and nothing to celebrate. Overall a good experience.
The bison short rib portion was small for the price. The short rib was not brought to my table hot, it was lukewarm warm, while the mashed potatoes were hot.
I went to the restaurant for my reservation and the door was locked. Door said open at 11am but it was 12 pm and still locked. No notification despite having been able to book a reservation. Thus poor review because we never got to experience.

I feel like Ted's Montana Grill is very underrated. Whenever I travel to NYC, I always make a point of coming here. The Delmonico Ribeye Bison steak I had was one of the best steaks I've had anywhere. Certainly better than what I've had at The Capital Grille next door or Gallaghers a few blocks away, and it was a better value to boot. My wife had the bison meatloaf which was also quite flavorful. A side of onion rings turned out to be a nice accompaniment. Service was good and it turned out to be a very nice evening.
The service was excellent! The food was delicious...one of our favorite places to eat when we cpme to the city.
Great food and restaurant for the family with huge number of burgers, kids menu and gluten free options to choose from (including GF burger / buns)
Great place for an enjoyable meal if going to Radio City or just happen to be in the area. The bison meat burger is delicious. Good place for kids too
Nice ambience, we had the fish sandwich which was okay, the onion rings were great! The brownie for dessert was also okay .The portions were bigger than expected . Overall a good experience, I would definitely come again.
