We were going to a 1:00 PM show and had to catch a 6:00 PM train from Penn station. We arrived at 4:00 PM and explained that to our server. We had our wonderful dinner and dessert and were on our way to the station by 5:30 PM. As usual, the food was great and the service was excellent. We'll definitely return when we're in town for an early afternoon show.

We were a family of six with small children, in town for the Radio City Christmas Show. This was our first time at Ted's Montana and we were quite pleased. We had a reservation and were seated promptly upon arrival. The wait staff were attentive and quick to get us set up w/ drinks and plans for appetizers. The menu had many selections for the adults and children and we ordered a variety of meals (Caesar salad w/ chicken, strip steak, salmon on plank, kids steak and kids mac & cheese). The food was prepared as ordered and everyone enjoyed it. The adult beverages had a healthy pour. Desserts ordered were mostly ice cream, again, good portions. The restaurant filled while we were there (Sat nite: 6:30 - 8PM) but it wasn't noisy - table conversation was not an issue. The decor of the dining room was simple and functional. The dinner tab was reasonable, especially given the location, and a good value for a family outing. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and the Ted's Montana experience. We'll go back when in the city again.

Very quiet restaurant with a classic style. They reserved a separate, private room for us — perfect for our family dinner. Excellent service, with very warm and attentive waitstaff. The food was very good, and the meat was outstanding. Highly recommended!

I hadn't been to Ted's for about 10 years so I didn't know what to expect. I chose it because I needed somewhere near the Michelangelo hotel and the prices at the other restaurants nearby were insane! What a stroke of luck! Even on a Friday night Ted's was neither crowded nor loud, food and service were terrific and, unlike so many restaurants in the city, we were not rushed at all. I think Ted's is going to be my new go-to in midtown!

Nice atmosphere. Decent food and interesting choices for bison. Kale salad was delicious. Very fresh crunchy kale bit absolutely no hint of jalapeño. Bison short ribs were tender and very flavorful. Not really sure what bison should taste like but these were very good. Mashed potatoes are a lumpy mash which is fine but I think important to mention. Carrots were al dente in a good way. Dirty martini was very good. Chilled glass, perfect amount of brine and blue cheese stuffed olives. Food came out very fast but otherwise was an enjoyable meal.
