It makes me laugh so many people gave such crap reviews. My company is right around the corner and my CEO loves this place. He sends me here 24-7 - if he hated it - he wouldn't keep getting cappuccinos & food... Anyhow, I personally like their soup and cappuccinos too...Again, not sure why so many people in NYC love to find things to COMPLAIN about, but, I guess that's just what city people do.... Get a hobby and leave this establishment alone!

Nice place
Coffee is on a dark roast end of spectrum.
If you like dark, you will appreciate it.
If you prefer lighter roast - it is still ok.

just ate the avocado and egg salad on an everything bagel for breakfast on my first ever day in nyc. it was so yummy, but the atmosphere here is even better. it was the perfect calm start to a rainy day. service was lovely and it was quiet and warm.

Telegraphe Cafe is a charming, tucked-away coffee spot in Chelsea that feels like a well-kept secret. With its exposed brick walls, handwritten menus, and mellow vibe, it’s the kind of café that invites you to slow down. It has a cozy, local feel like a place built more on community and craft than trends. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to read or a mid-day coffee break, this spot delivers.
I ordered a cortado and a chocolate croissant, and both were excellent. The coffee had depth and richness without being overpowering, and the croissant was fresh, flaky, and not overly sweet. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the overall experience felt thoughtful and grounded. If you love places that combine good coffee with unpretentious charm, Telegraphe Cafe is worth seeking out.

Such a nice little spot. I'm not a big fan of quiches but I just got one because I expected a small little snack. Nope, it was huge and it was delicious. I had it a few weeks ago, but I randomly thought about it. What a nice place.
