We had a great experience at Telio. The gyro platters were large, filling, and absolutely delicious. My son tried a lamb gyro for the first time and loved it. The chicken gyros were made with white breast meat which was a big plus for us. The service was attentive and very friendly.
Telio is a great new addition to the neighborhood. We really hope it sticks around, since this is the third restaurant in this spot since we moved to the area in 2021. We will definitely be back.

We had a delicious meal at Telio's last night, with friends.
The Greek chicken soup was wonderful.
We also enjoyed a flavorful Branzino with crisp edges, lemon potatoes and a lamb shank with orzo, in a tomatoe sauce.
The food and atmosphere made it a very nice evening out.

What a pleasure! The Upper West needed this place. Highest quality home-style cooking with flair, heads above the same, same Greek fare one usually finds. (Grandma is actually in the kitchen and you taste her heart in family recipes). The moussaka was beautiful and the seafood was super fresh. Don’t miss the zucchini fritters filled with fresh dill. I was also happy to see their beautiful renovation/transformation from the restaurant that preceded them. We felt so welcomed by the warm, friendly staff, and the space was so inviting. The light airy vibe with organic details and warm olive color scheme made me forget Broadway was just outside. Oh, and a great bar / happy hour to consider ;) We will be back!

I’m Greek, and this is better than many Greek restaurants in Greece.
If you want great Mediterranean food, this is the place to go.

Went in for the first time hoping for something special. It wasn’t special but rather pretty good. Mu first problem was the 20 dollar semi martini. I’ll pay the price but am troubled by a half filled glass. Ordered a second. One full Martini, thirty eight bucks. Ouch!
The food was good but only so. I will return and give it a second chance. The service was top notch.

Awesome addition to the neighborhood! We had the shrimp saganaki, halloumi, chicken meatballs and a chopped green salad with fresh herbs. Everything was really excellent, flavorful and bright. The shrimp was especially impressive…not your typical tasteless restaurant shrimp. It was vibey and fun at the bar and service was warm. My martini was also in a real martini glass…not a mini. Nice touch to make you feel not ripped off these days in nyc!

Fantastic new Greek restaurant, fancy-ish ambience yet still family friendly. Every dish was flavorful and appetizingly presented. The vegan stuffed eggplant was absolutely delicious, filled with sweet onions and tomatoes and savory mushrooms. The lemon potatoes melted in your mouth but the serving size was not worth the price (price wasn’t too high but amount was a bit skimpy). Beet hummus was excellent and the horiatiki salad was satisfying and bright (the capers added a fantastically salty touch).
My daughter had the chicken souvlaki platter and said the meat was perfectly cooked and the rice fragrant with herbs.
Only quibble was the tables all around us got their food significantly faster than we did. We waited a very long time between courses (it seemed like they forgot to fire our entrees). For the inconvenience the waiter brought my wife a glass of wine for our troubles which was a nice gesture, but with a hungry 9 year old it was a bit of a let down in an otherwise wonderful first experience. Hopefully things will go smoother on our next visit.
