Definitely it is our first choice among other restaurants, such as: the capital Grill, Nobu, The Metropolis, The Moden & La Greton.
Everyone at Temple Court really knows how to make a celebration feel special. The food and service were outstanding!
We went for our anniversary; they surprised our table with a lovely note, complimentary champagne and oyster appetizer. Our dinning experience was wonderful.
Simply outstanding!! The meal was delicious. The Spanish octopus starter was tender. The pork chop main course was succulent . Desert was a treat. Kudos to Temple Court. Cannot wait to return.
We were here for the Beekman hotel, but we were surprised that the food were excellent here. It was the restaurant week, and we got to sample the varieties from cold dishes to desserts. In general, the food was well prepared, especially the roasted Cod and grilled Hanger steak. Very disappointed at the tuna Crudo due to fish quality, hrs to chew! The service was a little untrained in the restaurant area, but they were very nice people. The broken couch and sagging seating made me downgrade the atmosphere. The place was beautiful by default!

Tom Colicchio is one of the chefs who leveraged their initial success in a flagship restaurant to build a franchise. Generally, this is hard to do, and in his case Temple Court is another bad example. We went for dinner during the NY Restaurant Week with a special 3-course menu for $60. One could choose an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert. Almost every item on the list had a supplemental charge, which I find ridiculous. It is acceptable to offer 1-2 items per category with a justifiable extra charge (e.g., caviar or a premium meat), but charging extra for even simple dishes is absurd. The dishes were uneven, to put it mildly. The pasta was overcooked, greasy and too salty. Mushroom crostini had a weird, almost unfoodlike taste, so that my wife left it after one bite. The pork chop was barely acceptable, the sauce was ok, but the meat a bit dry. The service was atrocious. Had to remind the waiter twice about a glass of wine. The good news was that this was sheer incompetence, not ill will, because the guy then forgot to charge me for it. The only plus is the decor, kind of a nice old school place art deco style.
The service and food were great. This was actually the best lamb I’ve had. The restaurant is a bit on the pricier side unless you go during NYC restaurant week. Also, recommend making a reservation!

From the moment we arrived early and shared drinks in the cozy and spacious bar room, to entering the restaurant side, I was struck by the cohesive atmosphere transitioning between drinks and dinner. The ambiance is off the charts a vibe you want to chase! I was convinced the food would fall short (😉) Boy, I was not expecting the stellar evening that ensued. The staff was amazing- very attentive in a non disruptive way. We were celebrating our friends one year anniversary and our table was dressed with a champagne toast and also an anniversary card. Such an added bonus that really set the tone. Each course (we had unintentionally visited during restaurant week) was just perfection. Thank goodness because we all had our dishes picked out for weeks! Every morsel we had, was flavorful and thoughtfully plated! Delicious all around. Steak was done to perfection! We can not wait to go back!
One of the most beautifully Gilded Age designed restaurant with vaulted ceilings, stained glass, smokey mirrors, flowers and the nicest service staff. Chef Tom Colicchio's Temple Court is located in the Beekman Hotel, just steps away from WTC. It is elegant, sexy and deserves a Michelin Star. We enjoyed the restaurant week menu choices starting with Amuse Bouche of chilled zucchini soup. We chose the Ricotta Agnolotti with Grilled Corn, Espelette & Parmesan. There were five pieces delicately made with ricotta cheese. Seafood looked very interesting and chose the pan seared atlantic cod with Eggplant, Zucchini & Tomato in a light vinegar based tomato brodo. The cod was fresh and perfectly cooked. For dessert we chose the corn tres leches cake with Pineapple, Chiles & Salted Honey Chantilly. Fine wine and craft cocktails looked very eclectic. The red wine CÔTES DU RHÔNE Domaine Vallot, Le Coriançon, 2021, Rhône, France was a perfect compliment to dinner. Highly recommend. Can't wait to book dinner at the Temple Court.
The jamon with cherries, agnolotti, and lamb were standouts in a thoroughly excellent meal.

Three course meal, party of 5. Late to seat us and we arrived early as requested. Waitress rarely checked on us. Bench seat looked like it was poached from a college frat house. Cod was undercooked and RAW inside, my guest couldn’t finish it. The chicken was dry, the salmon was underwhelming. The restaurant comped our sodas and gave us a desert we didn’t ask for, when at minimum they should’ve comped the one meal, especially since it was not edible. Two teen boys with iron guts and no ingredient sensitivities developed stomach issues right after the desert. Guest services never responded to my email detailing our experience. All around the food and deserts were very pedestrian and unimaginative. Im not hard to please but our dining experience was a huge letdown from start to finish. The best part of the meal, no exaggeration, were the dinner rolls. The only thing I’d recommend about temple court is to not go there.

Visiting Temple Court is a family tradition, especially during Restaurant Week. This time I went alone, and I'm happy I did so because the experience was unlike any other in the worst way. I arrived at 1:30 PM, plenty of time to spare before the dinning area gets swapped out for dinner. And yet, I had to constantly ask for silverware with my courses. The dishes themselves felt exhausted, as the staff. The worst part was dessert. Not only did the Tres Leches Cake come with a sauce that resembled cat vomit (as a proud cat lady I'm an expert), the plate itself was covered in smudges. I couldn't get out fast enough. Whatever changes Temple Court is going through, are not changes for the better.

Really great ambience for Sunday brunch. Some families or couples. Tranquil setting with live music. Cool decor. The food was great. Not a very large menu selection.
