I've had tender greens in LA and was so excited that they opened a NYC location. I ordered online and when I got my food I was a little disappointed. Portions are maybe like 2/3 or even less the size of other locations. It could be that the delivery and in-store sizes vary but I was very disappointed. For $15+ a plate should have at least more than a handful of salad.

Wagyu was very tasty and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. However, small portions left me hungry...

TenderGreens Bryant Park has been one of my favorite spots to relax and get a healthy and delicious meal, but today my salt and pepper chicken was red/pink and undercooked. I brought this up to the staff and they didn't do anything...in the age of coronavirus, I don't think I can risk it again unfortunately. Undercooked food is not acceptable. Three stars because it's normally a five and I hope this health safety concern will be resolved soon.

Horrible first experience. I ordered the special - Wagyu beef. What I received looked nothing like the picture. It took 15 minutes to get my food and there was no one in line. We were there at 11:15am - before the main rush. No one checked in and said, "Sorry, we're waiting on X." I've never seen such a disorganized mess. No one knew what their role was in food prep. They combined orders in my bag and only because I said something was it fixed. No apologies, awful customer service and I can't believe I paid $16 for this. Won't be going back.

Was walking past it on the way back to my office and say them advertising the wagu so I figured that I would give it a chance.

Ordered the Wagyu special. EXCELLENT. Steak perfectly cooked as were the potatoes. Short wait time.

This review i for this tender greens location as i am a frequent customer of tender greens because I'm from California and would go often and i have NEVER dealt with this before. So starting out the customer service was cool the young lady who helped me was nice but the food was horrible!! My chicken was pink and undercooked and i also found a piece of steak meat/bone in my mashed potatoes!! I do not eat red meat so I'm completely disturbed right now.

Ate here for the first time today. Was amazing in every way - customer service was on point, fast, easy, and food was delicious. They made a side of steak fresh for me to-go and it was warm and perfectly done. Restaurant was very clean and presentable too. Will definitely be coming back here for lunch.

I was expecting a little bit more. Dined in for lunch on Friday and came at what I would say is a fairly off-peak time (1:30pm). Most of the tables were taken but it wasn't like there was a line out the door or anything. I ordered a classic plate with salt and pepper chicken, mashed potatoes and veggies. They were out of mashed potatoes, dam. My friend ordered the same and had to tell the food runner multiple times what she wanted instead. The food runner came back twice because she forgot. The food itself was cold. I'm giving this place another shot as I've heard better things but I'll probably try a different location as this one really needs to get it's s*** together..

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I spent $17 and look at this small portion of salmon I received. In addition my food was cold. I am very upset and I'm not going to this location ever again!!!

We were at this location last Saturday evening, when the place was pretty quiet. It was a fabulous experience: we generally like Tender Greens, but we used to go to the Union Square location, which is good but not great. This location is absolutely fabulous, not only in terms of environment (it's super clean, the booths are wonderfully comfortable, and the layout is much more pleasant - so we stayed much longer than what we usually do, we didn't want to leave), and the food was truly fabulous (the steak was very generous, excellently flavorful, and perfectly cooked (truly medium rare), the veggies were definitely more generous and far better cooked than at the Union Square location: they were soft without being mushy, not too spicy, not too bland, and a great variety - multi-colored carrot, cauliflower, and sweet potato). The only item I was somewhat reluctant about was mashed potatoes: while definitely homemade (very much appreciated!), it was a type of potato that is a cross between Idaho and sweet potato - so it was interesting but I prefer traditional. Overall, it was a fabulous experience: with complimentary carbonated water that tasted like a real soft drink without calories, and a warm homemade chocolate chip cookie that was nothing short of amazing (with huge chunk-style chips). Definitely worth every cent, truly fabulous!

The Chef’s plate with beef is great. I just wish the prices weren’t so high.

Go for chicken, not seafood and be prepared to spend $$$. Been here twice, wanted to give them two shots before going blast on Yelp. Good thing I did, it really depends what you order here (like most places). First visit, it's a new year new me so I want to eat light. I get the chefs bowl with Salmon. It was a $7 add on which is a lot but not insane for NYC. However add base and tax and we are pushing $18 total. That's a lot for lunch. I ended up waiting for 15 mins for the salad which was insane for lunch in NYC. Salad was as ordered cold so I don't know why it took so long. I get my salad and it looked like a last minute MealPal. Super disappointing and definitely not up to $18 lunch standards. It TASTED good but so does a salad at Upland which isn't much more and miles above. Second visit, I took a hint and got the Cobb Salad with Chicken. Came out quick but still expensive around $15 all in. Again it tasted great but I just canny justify the price. However this seconD trip saved them. I'll be back, I mean why not. It tastes good and I seem to dislike money in my bank account.

Regional chain, offers salads with fresh ingredients. This location almost exclusively caters to the business lunch crowd - no seating, most of the space is pick up area for mobile orders.
