I usually never write reviews but I had to write one about this place. I’ve ordered from here time and time again and don’t have to interact with the staff there. I made a mistake on my order putting it for pick up and not delivery. I called the store to see if I could change it to delivery, the manager handling the phone became very disrespectful and rude telling me I’m wasting food and I need to read so I can order correctly. I did apologize and tell him I just want to cancel my order so I can retry again. He says “you can cancel the order, what a waste of food, good bye” and hangs up on me. I had to recall to ask if my order was cancelled because it had to be cancelled directly to them, he picked up again and cut across me saying “it’s been cancelled already it’s been cancelled”, I said “okay I am sorry again” and before I can say anything he hangs up on me. Very unprofessional person on the phone.

OK so I live near the 125th St. location and I have been in there multiple times in person. On July 5th 2024, I ordered three bowls (totaling $52.37 ) for my family and I. It was suggested by employee to download the teriyaki madness app for food delivery (“”because they aren’t on Uber””? which was a lie because the delivery personnel was a Uber delivery personnel ) so this day I decided to try it. To make a long story short, I never received the food because the delivery personnel canceled the order after being given the meals. I received text message from teriyaki madness’s app/ Uber, stating that I needed to reach out to the business location that I ordered from for further assistance. And I did. Yet the supervisor at the time by the name of Joseph was extremely rude and extremely unprofessional when it came to helping me. He told me that there was nothing he could do about it, and he also hung up the phone on me. I had to call back later that day and threaten to bring the police into the restaurant if I did not see money refunded back into my card.
All I’m going to say is if you go to this restaurant do not order through the app I believe that this place is scamming people out of money and I have receipts to prove the whole exchange .
The food is not that good to go through the headache . Be safe folks and be blessed.!!

Oh, an update. I just seen that another client./customer went through the very same experience as me about a year ago, which is super unfortunate that everyone is calling out the same manager, and he still there working and disrespecting ?!

Solid take out option. Made fresh to order which is great but does take little longer, I often order online ahead of picking up. Flavorful sauces and the chicken is particularly good.

First of all this food is not all that good at all yall… second it’s insanely over priced… third of all they need a better ventilation system because as I’m sitting here eating my eyes are watering and burning from all the smoke that’s inside the store… as soon I left my uniform smelt just like teriyaki madness and that’s not a good thing… it’s like frying chicken in your clothes before you go out the door absolutely hate that! If you’re a real NEW YORKER this food is trash we’ve got way better food here and didn’t need this teriyaki place at all sorry TERRYAKI MADNESS I WILL NOT BE BACK. I’ve given you 3 tries to redeem and absolutely tf not although I do like the chicken egg roll that’s about it

This spanish big guy who was at the cashier was very sarcastic and he needs to learn how to have better people skills. It was my first time there. Never going back. This place does not deserve a star at all.

I order pick up online. The food is basic. I have had better teriyaki chicken rice bowls in the mall. I wish I had the time and patience to take it back and get a refund, but they were short staffed and slow. I just have to take a lost. I don’t recommend teriyaki madness. I would recommend panda express they have more flavor and the quality is better. I bought my wife a bowl also and she feels the same. They could also use some more help maybe start hiring more employees. Me and wifey are not coming back. They didn’t even put napkins in the bag. We had to wait and ask for them. Maybe the could have two cashiers instead of one but it doesn’t matter. First and last time. ?

Mr. Lopez in the 125th ST. New York Location he is very bad, he say stupid to he coworer or employee, he treat me with very disrespect just because I tried to used the bath room before to buy some food, at the end I buy the food and not going to the bathroom. He is very upset person. But the others one employee was very respectful with me. he served the food with intentions he send to home.

Let me start off with the good. Music, customer service, attitude, speed, food (taste).

Now for the not good (horrible) - the restaurant claims that the regular chicken teriyaki has "almost 1/2 pound" of chicken. The second I was handed the bag, I knew that this was not true.

When I got home, I weighed the chicken (and oil and sauce), and it only came out to 157 grams (that's 1/3 of a pound).

The food tasted good and fresh. But is it worth $13? Nope! Definitely not.
