Today I saw the employee Sumon endure racial harassment from a customer who was being rowdy...he de-escalated the situation and didn't respond with the same vitriol. This is something not many of us could do. He always ensures the orders are correct also

This particular location gets five stars. They always make great chicken. The chicken has a Golden crust that's when you know it's good and has vibrant flavor because they are consistent at changing the oil. 😳👍
I've been to other locations where the chicken is brown because they repeatedly use the same oil which makes the chicken taste less vibrant. ☹️👎
The key is when visiting a Texas chicken and burger, look to see if the chicken is golden. If the chickens Brown take a hard pass.
Again this particular location makes fantastic chicken chicken. 😳👍 The staff are professional and friendly. The restaurant itself is a super clean place to eat.
I actually prefer this locations chicken over Popeyes.

I've ordered from here a few times and they are shockingly consistent with the quality. It is ALWAYS piping hot, super juicy, spicy, flavorful and with crunchy skin. It is never soggy or dry like Popeyes can be. So just based on the consistent quality I give them a 5. The chicken flavor reminds of Gus's Chicken in Chicago, but just crunchier. People are buggin with these 1 star reviews. Like I said, I've order several times from here and the food has always been perfect. I don't know what these people are expecting for their food.
Fiery chicken sandwich was good. But cooking oil was old and burnt. I told him give me fresh and hot chicken and I waited for it, but I got cold tasteless chicken in old burnt oil. When I am willing to wait then why won't you give me fresh chicken. Why. Please tell me. This is the same and main problem in most of your locations.

If I could give zero stars I would. I paid for the 5 dollar spicy chicken sandwich without the coleslaw. Before they even made it I asked if it could be removed. (I had mistakenly said lettuce, but then reclarified that I didn't want the coleslaw that was on the sandwich.) After it was made, I had told them the order was incorrect, as they still had the coleslaw. They said they would remake it, only for them to put the coleslaw back on again...I don't know if there was a language barrier between us, but I had repeatedly tried to explain to the two men that was working there (the one that made the sandwich and the one who was working the kiosk, and they both seemed confused.) If there was a language barrier, fine, I don't mind that. But what I DO mind is both of the employees trying to mansplain how I ordered. After arguing with me and being disrespectful for nearly three minutes, after I had calmly tried to explain it was wrong and them staying gunho that I was incorrect, I tried to get a refund, which they at first refused to give. Finally after saying I would be fine with a cash refund, they gave me the change. I was a long-tome customer before this, but after that experience, I will never go back. Rude and unprofessional. Please train your staff better.
