Went in here between lunch & dinner, just wanted something light. The bar staff/waiter suggested Laab which is the very basic lettuce cucumber salad. Chose the mushroom option which came with heavily coated strong spices, which masked the mushroom and entire dish. I asked the manager how this was soo salty and aggressive that I was not informed by wait staff, she responded telling me they generally don’t take any dish back once ordered….(the glass of Cava I ordered was also relatively flat)
Never wrote a review since I work in hospitality as well; but this is just a very unpleasant experience and I guess a Diner is only going to be a Diner..

This is so below mid. The food was all too salty, not that great. Thai iced tea too sweet. Service was poor. And not even that cool of an atmosphere. Not sure why everyone loves this place

Outrageously delicious food. Fast and friendly service. 11/10 ambiance. Unique and creative menu. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Well worth the 30 minute wait (walk-ins for dinner on a Thursday night).

I was expecting a lot more, frankly, having heard so much about it, and with all the hype and the long wait. I've been to Thailand and I know what Pad Thai should taste like. I've had mind-blowing Pad Thai in Patong for $2. This was mediocre (at best) and more than 10 times the price with an hour and a half wait. I was told by someone who has been here and liked it that l should have ordered other things, but to me, if you can't make good Pad Thai as a Thai restaurant, it's pretty much of a fail. I also tasted their Pad See Ew, which was also mediocre and we had the Drunken Dumplings which were fine, but honestly, nothing to write home about. We sat at the bar and service was cold but efficient. I will say this, it's a scene. Attractive staff and patrons, but if I want good Thai food (and by good, I mean by American standards), I'll go to my local place at just over half the price, it's far better.

Beautiful and unique on the inside. Service was warm and chill, everyone was very nice and attentive even for so early in the morning. Had the drip coffee, did not disappoint for someone who is a dark roast fanatic! Tried the tom yum crab omelette, it was stuffed with crab, is a relatively skinny omelette, and a little more on the sweet side. Not my thing. BUT the highlight was the French toast! Literally my party and I were speechless. Great place to visit for a unique breakfast.

Loved the drunken dumplings!! Also had the Yum kai hua.... delicious roasted chicken with lemongrass and roasted chili dressing.... really really good!! They offer cocktails. They have some herbal elixirs and some wine options as well!! We tried the banana Thai ramen tapioca pudding for dessert.... Definitely save room!!

After a 2 hour wait we were eager to enjoy the food and the vibes. We were massively disappointed.
The best thing we ate was the eggplant appetizer but it was all downhill from there. The kabucha squash artichoke appetizer was inedible. The breakfast sandwich was bland - how is that even possible?? The coconut crusted fried chicken had no flavor. The khao soi barely had any noodles and the broth was super salty. The condiments could not save any of the bland flavors either. Wow, what a massive disappointment.
The service was also lacking. Our waitress was cold towards us. She did manage a quarter of a smile when it was time to pay and tip her.
I won’t be back since none of the experience was worth it.

Arrived on a Sunday at 6pm, waited 30 mins after getting on waitlist. Ambience is immediately warm and cozy when you walk in with red paper lanterns lining the room. Food is unique with American fusion elements. Tried the famous disco fries (my fav dish), lettuce wraps (very good), pad see ew (surprisingly small portion), papaya salad (spicy -- be warned), and monster cake (more for visuals than taste). Overall would come back to try brunch!

The 1hr wait for a table is justified. Food & service were great. Nothing bland about this menu. Flavors were explosive. Best pad see ew i ever had. Will be back for sure

The service and atmosphere are both fantastic! The hostess and bartender servers were all really nice, friendly and welcoming. We got the Thai Diner sandwich, pad see ew with fried chicken, papaya salad and side of purple sticky rice. We thought all the food was really tasty and delicious, just that the fried chicken was slightly saltier than we liked but still very tender and juicy.

A little cramped, can't get out from inside seating area if seated for two.
Khao soi was very weak. Some of the weakest Khao soi I've had. While the flavor was ok, there was a distinct lack of noodles in our bowl..not much substance of stuff to eat
This dish would really benefit if it came w a side of rice or roti.
Thai breakfast sandwich. Really good. I would get it again if I had the chance.
Pandan coconut pancakes.. just ok. I think the batch we had was really salty. Now that may be the intended taste, I'm not gonna pretend I'm a expert on thai food.
The best Thai restaurant I've had is taste of Thai express located in Ithaca New York, so it's a bit disappointing that this fell very short of that experience even though it came highly recommended
After discussing my experience with a few peers, it appears I may need to go back and order some other Thai specialties. I've heard the pad Thai was a must try.
I heard their banana pudding is good but not as good as magnolia.

The service was great. The thai ice tea was good also. But they breakfast was trash. I had the george egg sandwich. Didnt like it. Person i was with had coconut pancake and they aint like it either. Anything else on that menu i cant speak for but what i had i wont recommend it. You better off getting sausage egg and cheese sandwich tbh. Those dumplings trash as well

Fun spot in Nolita that mixes classic American diner vibes with bold Thai flavors. The menu has creative dishes like Thai tea French toast and curry disco fries alongside more traditional curries and noodles. It gets busy and a bit loud, but the food feels worth the wait if you’re looking for something different.
