The three and half star average of Thai Select seems to be pretty spot on. My appetizer and the chicken Rama were somewhat bland. The pad Thai was very good but they clearly didn't hear my choice of protein (since I asked for shrimp and got chicken). The drinks were good too. I'd probably try a different Thai place is that area before going back.

Very very poor dish preparations. I like the location & ambience, but taste is HORRIBLE!!!!!If you prefer good taste, try “Abaya Thai” nearby.Cheers!

Pro: Food tasted good.Cons: Waited 30 mins to have our order taken, then another 30 mins + to receive appetizers, the drinks were slow in coming.I never got my drink, we ordered a soup that never came, there was a moth in one of the kids drinks and a hair in my pineapple fried rice. We waited about 30 mins to get the check. They have 2 separate menus so watch which one you order from, the price difference is big and adds up.There was only one employee doing everything, from assigning seating to mixing drinks and serving food.

Went here with a friend today and was told “we’re closed” by the owner when walking in. But there was plenty of people at tables. Walked by an hour later and saw even more people inside, clearly not closed and still open for several more hours. We were discriminated against by the way we look. Ridiculous considering I’ve been here before and live in the neighborhood. So disappointed, be better.

Idiot I.

It appears new owners and staff that was once my favorite Thai restaurant changed the quality of food. Oh well.

Thai Select, rather I would call it select another Thai restaurant. Steamed dumplings were clearly microwaved, better to buy grocery frozen ones. Rest of the food was nothing to recommend. A couple of noodle and rice dishes. Although it was empty in the restaurant it seems nothing tasted fresh.

My boyfriend and I came here for an early lunch a few weeks ago. The food was delicious and the waitress was friendly. The food came out quickly since we were the only customers there. I would definitely go back.

Do not eat at this restaurant! I wish I would have read the reviews before I did! Firstly the menu outside is completely incorrect with wrong prices. It is put there just to lure you in. There's no excuse for that. Put a current menu outside if you're going to put a menu out there at all. Even though the prices were much higher than listed outside, we ordered. The food was edible but not much more than that. The ingredients that they list on their menu they don't even use, such as real Chinese broccoli. Why put an ingredient on your menu that is supposed to be in a dish and then not use it? Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place! There are so many good Thai restaurants to eat at but this is not one of them!

Used to be my favorite. No more. Prior to covid, the dishes were Thai. Now, I am not sure. I had a simple pad thai for lunch. It was anything but pad thai. It is so sad I have to find a new thai restaurant.

Avoid this place at all costs. My wife and I came in for dinner before a show (we were the only customers) and we were so excited. I'll keep this simple, all the food we ordered was thrown in the same fryer.Their Chicken Satay was RAW!! How do you not cook a thin piece of chicken fully? I hope I don't get sick....Those green dumplings were warmed up in a microwave. My wife's tofu was cooked in the same fryer that they use for everything else (fish, chicken, EVERYTHING).They took the appetizer sampler (don't remember what it was called) and the green dumplings off our bill but they refused to take off the fishy tasting tofu that my vegan wife did not enjoy. I told them I knew they put the food in the same fryer but our server tried telling me no.Please do not eat here! Cheap, nasty, oily Thai fast food!!! ??

I ate in the dining room on a Friday night and the food and drinks were delicious and came out quick. Service was excellent too.

This restaurant is filthy!!!! Wine glasses hanging above bar are cloudy. From floor to ceiling, bathroom was unbelievably dirty. Unfortunately, didn't notice until we finished dinner otherwise, we would have left before we ordered! Yuck! Update...experiencing stomach discomfort and many trips to the bathroom

Keepin it real out here in Midtown (West)I honestly don't quite remember the detail because it was from a while back. But the location is convenient if you work in Midtown, it's along bunch of other decent restaurants. The food itself was solid, straightforward. I got a pad thai (basic i know) and it was definitely to my liking, will probably visit again and try something else next time.

I came early and was the only person there for lunch special. I was impressed with the huge space here and the large selection of food on the lunch menu. I tried the tumeric noodles which came with spring roll and salad. I thought the salad was basicly mostly like iceberg and some sort of vinegar dressing did not wow me. the spring roll was adequate= nothing special but good. The star of the show was the tumeric noodles. I ordered pork with mine= there are choices there. This dish had a big serving of those flat noodles and the taste was amazing. I really enjoyed this dish and have been here twice now, once with a friend. can not recall what I had with the friend as it was not memorable but this was
