Ordered delivery-to a hotel-and they did not include ANY plastic ware to eat with. I’m sick and can’t leave my room. Who doesn’t include forks for delivery food? Can’t forgive this.

Thai food for real? Hair in the dish???
We walked in this Thai restaurant randomly. Most of the employees are having a break and eating, which I fully understand. But we waited for 30mins in the table so we finally decided to take out bc it took too much time. And after we got home we just found we ordered some junk…can anyone believe it took half an hour to have this kind of thing???thai food for real??? And this is not even the worst thing when we found a strand of hair in it…The worst Thai restaurant I’ve ever had.

This was one of the best Thai places I’ve been to in New York City. The food is so delicious and truly felt like it was from Thailand from someone who has lived in Thailand I can vouch for that. The service was amazing. There was beautiful sunlight coming into the restaurant it’s such a cute little spot to have a date. I loved it.

I have been eating at this restaurant off and on for years. I came in for lunch today and literally was only able to eat two bites before the food made me sick. They did not offer to make me a different meal and charged me the full price. When I explained to the server how long I’ve been eating here and that the food literally was making me sick, they said if you don’t pay for it, I will have to -we don’t care. I said you could easily offer to make me a different dish, I’ve been coming here for years, and she said ‘goodbye’. I asked for take away containers because they charged me full price(had I known the restaurant had become racist and ableist I would have just walked out), my intention was to give it to someone but obviously something is wrong with the food if it’s making me sick so I of course did not pack and take it. So if you want to be ill, and if you’re Black, & want some racism from this particular employees, by all means come here for some horrible tasting food.

Spice levels are on point, dishes are unique in every way - my Panang curry had chunks of ?, so yum & details that will keep you smiling through out your dining experience (cutest roses made out of the paper of a straw & ? rice with every dish?, I mean, c’mon…..)

Why you NEED to immerse yourself in this Terminal.
Firstly the originality of decor engulfs you into an atmosphere of culture which I love.
We began with the chicken satay dipped in a pickled vinaigrette sauce which I loved paired with the bouncy, super fragrant meat. The crispy triangle tofu was amazingly plump as I submerge it in the sauce that was sucked in by the sponge like tofu. All washed down with deliciously sweet lychee martini & sake colada both made to perfection. The star of the show for me; my entree, SOMTUM KAITOD. An explosion of flavor from the papaya salad! Funky and crunchy with the perfect dollop of rice and most crispiest but moist chicken for the perfect bite! We opted for the crispy duck and rice which was okay along with the sauce paired with the duck to have a pleasing bite, one of a salty tang & an Oreo cake as dessert, creamy and crumbly.

Thai Terminal in the East Village is a hidden gem for classic Thai cuisine at an affordable price. The steamed chicken and shrimp dumplings are an absolute standout, while the coconut shrimp is perfectly crispy and flavorful. I loved the shrimp pad Thai with its perfectly cooked noodles, and the salmon fried rice was loaded with generous chunks of salmon.

Had a fantastic meal at Thai Terminal! Started with Coconut Shrimp and Chive Pancake, both delicious. The Crispy Basil Duck and Drunken Noodle with Shrimp were standout mains, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Thai Iced Tea and Lychee Thai Iced Tea were refreshing. However, the star of the show was definitely the Mango Sticky Rice, warm, freshly made sticky rice paired with perfectly sweet mango. It’s a simple dessert, but they nailed it, making it a must-try. Highly recommend for authentic Thai flavors in a cozy setting!

Loved this cozy spot! The food I ate here came in a decent portion for the price and everything I ate here was under $20 each. They also have a good lunch special that’s pretty affordable as well. The food was really yummy and I really liked the decor here. I also saw that they had a great happy hour deal $4 on beer or wine after 4:30pm everyday with a purchase of food. I will definitely be coming back here for their happy hour next time!

Thai Terminal is a cute small restaurant in the East Village of Manhattan. If you like really intimate spaces, with an ambiance that fosters conversation and closeness, this is it!
It seats about 30 ppl comfortably so you’ll never be too crowded in the space.
The menu is amazing! There are very few restaurants that do the work to help you understand all the ingredients in a food item and Thai Terminal does this impeccably!
Not only do they list every allergen, but they offer items without fish sauce, catering to vegans like myself, and even have gluten free options!
Incredible !
I had spring rolls, edamame, red curry with mock duck, my guest had shrimp fried rice, and we ended with mango sticky rice with Lychee Thai Iced Tea.
Absolutely delicious!
Everything was a 10/10!!
