My boyfriend and I came here randomly without knowing about the place. We also had our dog and they are dog friendly which is a plus. The service there is great, the staff is very friendly. We ordered sliders and fried calamari. I always love fried seafood but this calamari was Soo good. It was absolutely delicious. The sliders were not bad but not that great either. I would definitely recommend this place though. It's a really cozy and relaxed atmosphere. I would love to come back!
Chill spot to get some food and drinks. It's a bit on the pricey end though. We got the slider and the fried calamari. The sliders were not bad. The patties were much smaller than the bun though. The calamari was actually very good. Service was good as well. They were attentive even though we were sitting outside.
Absolutely loved, the staff was one of the friendliest servers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Food was good, amazing size for an NYC restaurant, bathrooms were also very clean. I can't wait to go again.
I'm not sure why anyone would rate this restaurant anything other than 5 stars..... My only guess would be that the portion sizes are smaller (this isn't an all-you-can-eat buffet.... If that's what you're after, don't come here.....). The service was excellent, the food was absolutely amazing, pricing was fine, and food delivery was timely. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone. Of note - we also had a 6 year old, who was happily fed with the kids menu.
We went to Thalia last September whilst holidaying in NY from Australia. What great food. We started just sitting at the bar for drinks but after looking at the menu and seeing the delicious food being bought out we moved to a table. Thank you guys for great service and food. Frank and Jan
Staff was great. We misinterpreted the HH time too early and they let us do it anyway. Drinks were yummy. It was a great upbeat spot for a rainy day. Guests looked happy.
Nice interior, courteous waiter, pricey for the lunch menu, chicken sandwich $17 and salmon $26, $6 for one side order of fries ouch! Explains why lot of empty tables. Manager Betty was nice and friendly, honored the 20% discount coupon - thanks and appreciate it.
If you have out-of-town guests you need to entertain, then Thalia is a good choice. The prices aren't outrageous and I've never had anything bad here. I think they got rid of some of the big cool sofas (to accommodate more customers. A minor pity. But hey, a business needs to profit, right? â€â™‚ï¸)
Great food, great atmosphere. A short trip from many theaters. It didn't take long to eat here so I would recommend for before or after a show. I do suggest reservations (just in case!)
I took a group of four to Thalia and we had a great dinner experience.. The food was great and service was just perfect. Highly recommend for location in NYC, very good food, great environment and service.

I stopped by for dinner prior to my evening show, I have dined here before and was not disappointed. The service and food were delicious. I will be back,
Food Ok I suppose, service pretty poor, got all the food wrong and the A/C wasn't working properly. Not really worth the money.
Great food, great service. Good ambiance and a very fair price point
Tasty food and amazing celebratory (bday/anni) pyrotechnics!
Adorable place! The waiters/waitresses are just great! The pasta is delicious and the drinks too. It's just close to a metro station and took close to Times Square
