I recently visited The Bao, and it was such a pleasant surprise! Their Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) were definitely the highlight—delicate skin, super juicy inside, and served piping hot. The service was quick and friendly, and the overall vibe of the restaurant felt cozy yet modern. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving authentic flavors in a casual setting.

The atmosphere of The bao restaurant is warm and inviting. However, the real star is undoubtedly their crab roe xiao long bao. Each xiao long bao is extremely exquisitely made. Inside the thin yet resilient wrapper lies a generous, fragrant and juicy filling of crab roe.

This is a restaurant worthy of recommendation. The stir-fried egg tofu on a sizzling plate that I ordered today really blew me away. When it was served, the sizzling plate made a hissing sound and steam was rising from it. Instantly, the enticing aroma wafted into my nose, making my mouth water.
