Came her with my parents to celebrate my mom’s birthday. We had a fantastic experience.
Bazaar did a great job acknowledging my mom’s special day. They brought out complimentary drinks and had a nice surprise for us when we ordered dessert. My mom doesn’t drink, so they even brought her non alcoholic wine.
The food consist of a mix of very light, small dishes to pretty substantial mains. We had:
Jamon - freshly sliced off a leg, served with yummy tomato bread
Bao con lechon - steamed buns with pork belly. These were fine, not my favorite
Dragon fruit ceviche - very interesting presentation and the flavors mixed surprisingly well. It was super light and refreshing
Not your everyday caprese - a creative take on a caprese salad
Brussel sprouts - this was another light dish, but very enjoyable
Spanish octopus - one of our favorite dishes. Loved the cheese sauce and the crispy potatoes mixed in with the octopus
Rosseijat Negra - a big plate of squid ink paella. My parents loved this
Pollo al ajillo - chicken thighs. It was pretty tender and the presentation was nice
Steak and piquillo - we are not usually big fans of steak, but we really liked this dish
Carrot cake - a beautifully presented carrot cake
We were incredibly full by the end.
Service was very attentive - our waters were always refilled and our waitress was lovely.
My parents are picky eaters but they were both impressed by the meal. The nice ambience and setting in the Waldorf certainly didn’t hurt either!

My wife and I were recommended to come here by someone who works with Jose Andres while we were in NY and we were so excited to stop by. I made a reservation so we could grab some cocktails and dessert since we arrived into the city later than expected. When the waiter found out all I wanted was dessert and cocktails he let me know with an attitude that there was a bar downstairs. After coming back from the restroom I find the hostess asking my wife to move us downstairs and embarrassingly moved us from our table. I’m still astonished at how we were treated.

Get your bro vest on because you’re about to get fleeced at this place. Michelin quality….as in the cattle might have been run over by a pair of Michelin tires. Bar food type dishes for beyond extravagant prices. $1000 for dinner for two. Just INSANE. Not much to taste on the “tasting menu” with WAY below average food. Literally frozen dinner quality. We also paired our wine tasting for $140/pp extra charge, an utter disaster since the “sommelier” was self-taught, as evident in terrible and completely uneducated options for the drinks pairing. The sommelier I swear had a clip on tie and was wearing my shirt from 1991. When I asked where he studied wine his answer, no exaggeration was, “”I drink a lot”. The bridge and tunnel crew finds the place too cheesy. Good Lord stay away.

This dinner was a night to remember. My friends and I are still raving about how delicious it was and how attentive the serves and bartenders were. Truly delicious and fun! Absolutely recommend the tasting menu. The Wagyu-topped cheese foam roll was to out of this world!!

Let me start by saying the Arroz con Leche was light and delicious and was the perfect way to end my meal. In addition, the margarita de graña was delicious and the salt foam was an interesting and delightful concept. Other than that, absolutely nothing else blew me out of the water, which was disappointing coming from a restaurant with a Michelin star chef at its helm. I had one of each of the cones, which were fine but I've had better sushi delivered to my house. I also had the Wagyu air bread, which was served on paper on top of a plate of sand and the waitress had to warn me to eat over the plate because it would fall apart. Maybe serve it on a plate then? I also had the bluefin tuna with fried egg, which was forgettable and the scallops which were actually quite good. Finally, my biggest qualm is the Wagyu steak. When the waiter brought it over with au jus and asked if he could pour it, my heart left my body while I watched but I trusted that this was a choice the chef made for a reason and I was right. The Wagyu had no salt on it. All Wagyu needs is salt and it didn't even have that. There are much better places for food in the city that are much more affordable and I have to suggest that you venture elsewhere for a meal.

Wow, what an experience! From the moment you step foot in the space, you know you’re about to experience something special. The decor-absolutely stunning. So many details to be appreciated, from the feathered light fixtures, to the artwork, to the tiled floors - there is beauty in every direction. Mind you, this is before you get your first drink or bite…
My friend and I did the tasting menu, which is always my favorite way to experience a restaurant. When I tell you every dish was phenomenal… EVERY?? DISH?? WAS?? PHENOMENAL??????. Presentation was top notch, flavors were out of this world. My friend can be a bit of a picky eater, but she loved every single thing brought to the table. My favorites would be the wagyu air bread (that manchego cheese espuma is to die for) and the bluefin tuna and fried egg. I cannot recommend this place enough. TREAT YOURSELF AND GOOOO.
