Food was BOMB. Really loved the fact it was super close to my hotel. Food is made as you order so no grabbing out of a fridge or stale tasting food. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in NY.

In the area twice this week and had “breakfast”. A BL minus the T, a bagel and cream cheese and coffee and a drink were $20. I work by Grand Central so I know prices are high but geez. My experience Monday was decent. The cashier just seems rude and cold. Food was prepared as asked. Today, we ordered the same thing and I go it with tomatoes and no lettuce and my sister didn’t get my tomatoes. Nothing irritates me more than when someone makes a mistake and the. They want to argue with you. Further I can’t stand when some people are called sir and ma’am while others just get “next”. The high prices, biased treatment and arguing with a customer when YOU made a mistake makes this place a big no.

Ive never written a review before, but i had my first ever chopped cheese from here and it was so good it made me cry tears of joy which has never happened before. Haven’t had a good one since this one and i lie awake at night thinking about it. Highly recommend

I work in the area in the Legal industry and have been coming to this deli for over a year. If the deli wasn't so close to my office i would never step inside. The prices here are astronomical and unreasonable, especially with the current recession going on. I understand the deli is located in the financial district but it's ridiculous how this deli takes advantage of its consumers. Today i ordered a barely 5 oz cup of oatmeal which came to $8. Included in the $8 was a $2 fee for honey! HONEY (not pure, organic flown from the beehive honey generic honey, full of sugar over the counter honey) this is ridiculous. I expressed my frustration multiple times with the staff here and they seem to have an attitude which is ironic as they themselves are not making nearly close to the wage i make for a living so they should be more understanding regarding my concerns. They see the prices but there checks im sure don't correlate to what consumers are being charged for their purchases. This is one of the biggest issues with the U.S and why its failing. Taking advantage of the public is never ethical. If you can't run your business and have reasonable pricing, then close it! Do better! This is the sentiment of many of my coworkers.

I called in for some late night food as they were closing. I asked for the servers recommendation and they made me up an amazing feed. A proper NYC sandwich and it was bang on. They made me up their Special fillet chicken, lettuce, tomato, mozzarella and habanero mayo. Hit the spot!
