Performed here for their Monday open jam. The band is so freaking talented & they learned my song in like 2 minutes. It was a blast.
A wonderful institution.
Grungy Greenwich village hole in the wall joint with a good sound system, very friendly staff and reasonable drink policy and prices. Saw guitar phenom Stanley Jordan reimagining what Hendrix would be doing if still alive. Good show and historic venue.
What's not to love, other than the rude audio guy?
Storied ron in lower Manhattan
Great friendly venue
Quintessential NYC music venue. Great setup.
Best bar for live rock
We first thought great venue for musicians, my friends and I always come here to support our friend musicians who loves this place.
We had the worst experience in nyc music venues. Gave a chance 3 times. The last one is the highlight.
The old man at the entrance is so rude, and bartender the worst. It’s like they are afraid to be human. Our friend ask to be seat at the front cause he didn’t wanna see empty seats . The door guy came to treat us like shit, not even letting us pickup our drinks, dropped my drinks ended up all soaked. I said sir, ok we are living can you not yell at all, between the loud music and he’s s Shouting we were super confused and got out of there to pick another seat.
Super disappointed and never coming back here.
I don’t understand how a place that should give Joy end up making you spend and leave enjoyed.
Good seeing fellow artists

Most all of the seats are good seats to watch performances. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and prices for drinks are very reasonable.
