I been coming to the club for just about 9 years or so. I played at the Monday Night Richie Cannada open jam and I played on the Sunday Night open jam and quite a few shows. I love this club it is my home away from home place to come to play music and have a great time
Nice venue, a little tight. I wish there was a little more communication on how our phones would have to stay off and locked away, and also how you would most likely be standing. But that's probably not the venues fault. Everyone working here seemed nice!
$10 for two bottles of water đ
Unique, good service!
Love this music venue. They do everything right here. Great music acts and friendly attentive bartenders. It's a great vibe. They really make you feel like they're glad you're there. If you're looking for great live music in a cool friendly venue, the Bitter End is your place.
Went to see L*A*W and the planet 12 movement. Fantastic performance and show. The food could be better but it was a great night and decent staff.
Wonderful, historic live music venue. Lots of wonderful memories made here through the years.
The music is really crappy originals that had me yawning relentlessly. Also, the staff are pretty rude (the large woman with a back tat) followed me to ask for a higher tip ($3 for 3 bottles is a fair tip, especially when ordering at a bar). We should have realized why it was fairly empty when we first walked in - much better options on the same block for live music
Cosy music venue, spooky decor with giant spider next to the stage, very funky.
The show was great, but the bartender was rude and didnât know how to mix a drink. Apparently, the cheapest whiskey mixed with Sprite qualifies as a âwhiskey sourâ in this place. Also⊠you mix the same two drinks and they somehow come out completely different???

Horrible service good music bad vibes. There are better places
Come for Fred Licciardi, realize that George Carlin and Lady Gaga performed here, too.
Can't beat the place.
Classic, historical music venue. Drinks were great, music amazing! A must see when in East Village
Do not waste your time at this place!!!!
My family and I came to enjoy some music and good times but were greeted with unpleasant and awful energy, they lied to us on what the cost of entry was and were extremely judgmental to our group, we were mistreated every step of the way. It was so bad we forfeited our money and left after 10 min, went 2 shops down to the red lion and were treated like human beings and had an amazing night with much better vibes!
Iâm afraid the bitter end is at its bitter end.
John Boutte.. in a perfect venue.
