I have passed this pub many times and made a mental note to stop in, having read a diary of one of the last inhabitants of the Blaskets. I finally paid a visit today and was not disappointed. First and foremost, there was a photo of Irish Antarctic explorer, Tom Cream, on the wall, as well as a photo of the diarist I had read. Classic neighborhood Irish pub. Went for happy hour on a Wednesday and got two rounds of drinks which were both really good. Didn’t try any of the food but definitely will next time. Do yourself a favor and check this place out
This place is a gem!!! The food is great and you feel like you are taking a beer surrounded by friends and family. For a while you feel like NYC is a small town where everyone knows everyone. It is a magical feeling.
