One of our absolute favorite places to eat. Shrimp is sooo good, always fresh and their special blend seasoning is amazing (I like mild level). The drinks are fantastic also, saint mojito with lychee is perfection!!!

Highly recommended and this comes from a person who isnt even too much into seafood ))

Hostess / front of house woman was VERY rude, it put a poor taste in my mouth and tainted much of the experience honestly. Service was okay… and for a boil, it was sadly underwhelming.

The Boil offers a fun and engaging dining experience with its hands-on approach to eating seafood. It’s a place where you can get messy, enjoy good company, and indulge in some delicious Cajun flavors. For anyone looking to enjoy a hearty and flavorful seafood meal in a lively setting, The Boil is a solid choice.

My girlfriend and myself ate her this afternoon and she was not happy with the food. She had the Snowed crab legs, which got her very nauseous and almost caused her to throw up. we won’t be dining here again.

My boyfriend and I went there on a Sunday around 4:30 pm. I made reservations earlier the same day which weren't really necessary as it wasn't busy. We ordered our drinks and the waiter explained everything pretty thoroughly as it was my partners first time. The food was amazing, the only thing is that we didnt get the best filled pieces but it still tasted amazing. We got the king crab and the snow crab legs in their Cajon blend, mild w/ potatoes and 1 corn each. Great meal and the drinks were good as well. It is a cash only venue, the ATM avaliable does charge a percentage to take money out and there is a 20% service fee that's tacked on to the bill. I didn't see any signs about it and may have missed that on the menu but I assumed that 20% was including the tip. If it's not management should be more clear about that. Good vibes though.

Delicious food the boil special sauce is our favorite. Their lobster roll was also really good great service all around. Their shrimp was juicy and had a great texture. Would definitely come back!

it's a business that is cash only and cannot stay open past 11pm which is when they rush you out. the service is terrible because it's non-existent. the food was ok at best but even then it wasn't worth the price. not sure if this is a location part of the chain itself but it is a bit weird for a location in astoria to close as early as they do, and for it to be as empty as it was.it is a very nice location though, it seems to have been renovated recently but it looks like a front honestly.

I have been to a lot of seafood spots and this is a great local Astoria spot for seafood! The food was delicious and so filling. Ate the crab legs with shrimp with the Boil special sauce with a mild level of spices for one order and medium level of spices for the second order. We also ordered a side of Brussel sprouts and potatoes which were also good. The total was 134$. The place does only take cash but they have an ATM inside. There is plenty of space inside and we did not need to make a reservation for a Wednesday evening. Parking in this area is a bit difficult. Definitely recommend !
