My boyfriend and I went there on a Sunday around 4:30 pm. I made reservations earlier the same day which weren't really necessary as it wasn't busy. We ordered our drinks and the waiter explained everything pretty thoroughly as it was my partners first time. The food was amazing, the only thing is that we didnt get the best filled pieces but it still tasted amazing. We got the king crab and the snow crab legs in their Cajon blend, mild w/ potatoes and 1 corn each. Great meal and the drinks were good as well. It is a cash only venue, the ATM avaliable does charge a percentage to take money out and there is a 20% service fee that's tacked on to the bill. I didn't see any signs about it and may have missed that on the menu but I assumed that 20% was including the tip. If it's not management should be more clear about that. Good vibes though.

Delicious food the boil special sauce is our favorite. Their lobster roll was also really good great service all around. Their shrimp was juicy and had a great texture. Would definitely come back!

it's a business that is cash only and cannot stay open past 11pm which is when they rush you out. the service is terrible because it's non-existent. the food was ok at best but even then it wasn't worth the price. not sure if this is a location part of the chain itself but it is a bit weird for a location in astoria to close as early as they do, and for it to be as empty as it was.it is a very nice location though, it seems to have been renovated recently but it looks like a front honestly.

I have been to a lot of seafood spots and this is a great local Astoria spot for seafood! The food was delicious and so filling. Ate the crab legs with shrimp with the Boil special sauce with a mild level of spices for one order and medium level of spices for the second order. We also ordered a side of Brussel sprouts and potatoes which were also good. The total was 134$. The place does only take cash but they have an ATM inside. There is plenty of space inside and we did not need to make a reservation for a Wednesday evening. Parking in this area is a bit difficult. Definitely recommend !

I do not know how in 2024 you don’t accept card payment. This restaurant on top of not accepting card payment will charge you tax and a 20% service charge on any order big or small. The sauce that the boil came in also smelled really funky, not the freshest in my opinion.

We were at the first table here at 4:30, we waited for 35-40 mins for the appetizers. Then waited for another 30 minutes for the rest of the order to arrive but it did not happen. After we asked for the remaining order, they served our food cold, which meant it was prepped but left unserved. So we asked them to heat up the food again, turns out they only heated up the sauce but not the food. On top of that, you can't even deduct the 20% hospitality fee because it is mandatory. And while we were ordering, we wanted to order potatoes and corn on the side, the server told us it was included as part of the order but we saw no potato and corn at all?????
