The reviews I read made this place seem like the kind of pub/restaurant we were looking for. But the decor was tired, service was wuite bad and food was just ok. Would not recommend.
The Brazen Tavern is AMAZING. I cannot wait to go back. My friends and I had a blast! It was my first time there and I was so shocked I was able to have a solid conversation without yelling, but still having that bar feeling. The food was phenomenal -- we were there for happy hour and had the Pretzels, Chips and Guac (it has a kick, but deliciously so!), Hummus, Boneless Wings, and tied that all together with the Apple Pie.
Happy hour apps and drinks before our show tonight. Loved the atmosphere and menu. I will be returning
We were there for lunch before going to a show. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked questions about some of the food. Overall the food was tasty and reasonably priced. We would go back again if in the neighborhood.
Excellent dining experience! The food was great and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely come back on a future occasion.
The food is a bit basic for the prices which is disappointing. The service we had was average I’d say; our server could’ve been more attentive. Very very nice place though. Nice location and the drinks aren’t too bad. I’ve been here twice and it just depends on who is working the bar.

Stopped in here early in the day and was beyond impressed. Staff was incredible, food and drinks rocked, cannot wait to go back here. Near touristy area, felt like a local. Love this place.

In visiting New York for two weeks this was the most hospitable place we've found. Great burgers, great staff and unlike most places, no rush to get out the door. A fantastic place to enjoy a few pints while watching some sports.

Good place to meet after a show for drinks. It’s on the quieter side here so pretty good for conversation.
Ordered burgers medium rare and rare and all 3 came out well done. The coffee was old. The wine was not very good either. The waiter was new so he was forgetful and slow but we were very patient and understanding in that case. It was empty on a Sunday at 6:00.

Hidden gem! Haven't been to NY in a bit, but what a find! Off the beaten path a stones throw away from time square. Enjoyed the food, drinks and ambiance!

Great place for a drink and some decent bar food. Love their happy hour, and it's perfect for a quick meal before a show. Service is always excellent - friendly, attentive, and on point. For is basic but good and their cocktails are excellent. Recommend their aperol spritz.
We've gone here twice in the last few months, both times before a 7 pm show and have always left really pleased. Highly recommend.
Cool hang. Stiff drinks. Nice Irish waitress.
