It was a Sunday early evening after a Broadway show and the weight staff everyone was fabulous. It was very very quiet because we went to dinner early and the place was so pretty on the inside.

We ate here prior to heading over to Broadway for a play and it was a great find. The food was good and the staff tag teamed our table so we didn’t have just one server. That was nice because we were able to get anyone to help us, but a little challenging to know who to ask for help. The seating and atmosphere was great. It was just loud enough for ambience, but still quiet enough to have a nice conversation with my friends.

You're getting a tavern feel and atmosphere but it was cozy. The food was a little slow on a busy Saturday night but when it came it was hot and fresh. The pear salad with grilled chicken was a standout but the grilled chicken wasn't quite as good as our crispy chicken sandwiches. They were pounded out cutlet or schnitzel style and fried. The barbeque burger was also delicious. All in all pretty simple fare done well, with a bar area and lots of TVs playing games. We probably wouldn't have needed a reservation but got one because we were there for a pre-theater dinner in one of the theaters between 7th and 8th avenue. It was bustling but not a crazy wait.

Staff and service was great. I like that many of the tables and seats were comfortable. It was dark and moody inside, but a good amount of tvs showing the football game. I recommend the cauliflower bites and the Tavern burger: excellent stuff!

My visit to The Brazen Tavern was… lackluster. Liked the exterior and the interior (inside was redecorated while working to maintain a vintage vibe), but the experience was underwhelming. Sparse crowd, and the server told us when we came in that they were about to close (online said they were there 2 hours from closing). Last call was 40 minutes before the server’s closing time, and the server was definitely trying to get us out ASAP. The drinks were fine, but the overall experience felt lacking. Lots of other options in the area; maybe try somewhere else for a better experience.

Awesome little tavern. We had dinner there. We had a salad and shrimp tacos. Delicious food. Happy hour goes til 7:00, so we also have cheaper drink prices. Highly recommend.

The reviews I read made this place seem like the kind of pub/restaurant we were looking for. But the decor was tired, service was wuite bad and food was just ok. Would not recommend.
The Brazen Tavern is AMAZING. I cannot wait to go back. My friends and I had a blast! It was my first time there and I was so shocked I was able to have a solid conversation without yelling, but still having that bar feeling. The food was phenomenal -- we were there for happy hour and had the Pretzels, Chips and Guac (it has a kick, but deliciously so!), Hummus, Boneless Wings, and tied that all together with the Apple Pie.

We were there for lunch before going to a show. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked questions about some of the food. Overall the food was tasty and reasonably priced. We would go back again if in the neighborhood.
