My friends and I recently visited for brunch and while we initially enjoyed the lively ambiance and delicious food, our experience was unfortunately marred by the poor service provided by our waitress, Danielle W.From the outset, we encountered issues with the service that significantly detracted from our dining experience. Despite the fact that two of our friends were running late, Danielle rushed us to place our orders, creating an uncomfortable situation where we felt pressured to decide hastily. This lack of professionalism persisted throughout our meal, as we received no apology or acknowledgment for the incorrect item that one of our party received, nor for the fact that my glass for an espresso martini arrived broken. Throughout the meal, there was a notable absence of attentiveness from the staff, as no one checked if everything was satisfactory or if we required any assistance, not even refilling our water glasses. What truly soured our experience, however, was the behavior of our waitress during the payment process. When one of my friends opted not to leave a tip through the card machine, intending to provide a cash tip instead, Danielle rudely insisted that she select a tip option and even peered at her hands. Despite our reassurance that we intended to leave a cash tip, her dismissive attitude persisted, culminating in her rolling her eyes and walking away without even clearing our table. To add insult to injury, as we were preparing to leave, she saw a random $10 bill on the table. Danielle approached us with an air of entitlement, insinuating that the money was intended as a tip for her. She looked at it and she said "$10?!". After we told her that it's not for her ad we are not done yet she rolled her eyes again and walked away. Her behavior was not only disrespectful but also unwarranted, considering the subpar service we had received. It is truly disheartening to witness such a lack of customer service skills from a member of staff, particularly in an establishment that prides itself on delivering a memorable dining experience. I am deeply disappointed by this incident and concerned that the actions of one individual could tarnish the reputation of an otherwise excellent establishment.I sincerely hope that management takes appropriate action to address this issue and ensure that similar incidents do not occur in the future.

When we entered the venue, they asked what we wanted to eat, and we said breakfast. It wasn’t a planned place. I found the venue not very clean, the tables were not clean, and even the coffee cup was not brought in a very clean manner. We ordered avocado toast and an egg sandwich for breakfast. I didn’t particularly like the egg sandwich because I couldn’t even cut the croissant, and its taste wasn’t satisfying. We also ordered a bowl, which wasn’t bad, and I liked that. Considering the price, I wouldn’t really recommend this place.

We wanted bowl, avocado toast and egg sandwich for breakfast. It wasn't bad, but we didn't find it incredibly delicious. I asked for orange juice because the juices were freshly squeezed, and it wasn't bad either, but I wasn't sure if it was completely natural. It is not a big place, you may have to wait in line on weekends. There is also seating outside, but we did not choose it because it was in front of the street. There are no chairs, you sit on stools. It wasn't a very enjoyable place for me.

We ordered vegan waffles, a croissant, coffee, tea and a filled croissant. The food, especially the vegan croissant, was fantastic. The waffles were also delicious and very filling. I found the total price for both at just under $70 to be unreasonable for this small amount of food.

Food was very good. I had the soup of the day which was a butternut squash soup, and then the Golden State latte and the pistachio pear cake. I sat at the window bar where there are swivvle seats and it was incredibly uncomfortable- I don't recommend sitting there. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 was the price of the soup vs. the amount I got. I asked my server about the soup of the day right when I walked in without looking at the menu (I was craving soup), and I made the mistake of ordering that without checking about the price (or how much you get). The serving was modest- served in a shallow bowl- so I was shocked to see it listed on my tab as $14. Never again will I make that mistake (or order their soup)!

Such a cute place! They say us in a long communal table and it didn’t feel crowded. The food is so good! Such a nice variety of breakfast options, all vegetarian. We had the bagel Lox where they put carrot instead of salmon and the açaí bowl which was so good! The service is great! Our server was so considerate and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this place!

Food was fine, just overpriced and not that interesting of a menu. Just a coffeeshop vibe instead with seating at the bar, primarily, and quite loud. Much nicer outdoor seating.

Very very mediocre food for a very high price, my friend ordered scrambled eggs and it was the saddest dish ever for 18$, also as a vegeterian restaurant charging 4$ extra for tofu scramble instead of egg is a nogo for me.The staff was very friendly tho.

The staff was friendly but the food is terrible. I ordered the scrambled eggs with truffle oil. It was literally just some dry bread with a bit of eggs dropped on top. The truffle oil was unnoticeable. The dish was sad.

The food was pretty tasty, I'd recommend the Butchers Waffle. However, the service was really not great. My group of 3 was rushed out in less than 45 minutes. This includes eating time and the time spent waiting on our orders. Half way through our meal they dropped a take out box on our table despite us still eating. They also pushed us to pay right after and it just felt extremely rushed overall which is unfortunate.Take out is the way to go because apparently they don't want you to sit down for a meal.

very delicious vegan breakfast. attentive staff definitely not like Los Angeles, Venice. this place they get you in and out quickly almost tot he point where you feel rushed. not bad, just interesting vibe compared to my spots in Los Angeles. i like the waffles here in NYC more. searing is tight, close to no elbow space and the fixed stools will irk anyone. juice flight was amazing.Dietary restrictions: plant based vegan was available and is.
