I came here like 5 years ago and today I came back. Man, these birria tacos are still amazing. The flavor is super good, the meat so tender, and the consommé just makes everything perfect.
I eat birria tacos in many places, but honestly here they are different — like more authentic, more tasty.
For me, best birria tacos in NYC. No doubt.

I really want to give this place full stars, because the atmosphere is great, and the portions are generous. I had an amazing brisket, but my tortillas were moldy. I kind of expected some kind of discount or freebie when I told the waiter, but nothing.

This place is a gem! Authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Special thanks to Caesar—he’s awesome! Even though the place was super busy and he was the only server on the entire floor, he made sure we had everything we needed. He took care of everyone with incredible speed and attention. Truly a superhero.

I love this restaurant! A neighborhood favorite for sure and the staff is so friendly. I love the enchiladas de mole and the guac!
First, I much prefer this location to the Amsterdam one. I like the cozy downstairs vibe of this place, and the food here is really good. I like the enchiladas and tacos. Nachos were not great to me. The drinks are also pretty good, staff is nice and I always like the music. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

This meal was Amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They make one of, if not the best margaritas I have had in a long time. The food was very traditional, which we LOVE! Proper size handmade corn tortillas. We sat inside downstairs and the atmosphere was lovely. We will be back! So pleased with everything about our time here.
