I can’t speak more highly about this space and the staff.
From the moment we were greeted at the door with a warm smile to the first sip of Scott’s perfectly made Jacklyn, this place did not disappoint.
We will be back!!!

Amazing food, friendly staff, and a great location for a big group. We can’t wait to come back and host another event soon!

Wow, has this place gone downhill. Are they under new management? Used to be a real exclusive, classy vibe. Went Fri for the 1st time in years. They’ve taken all the seating out & the place was filled with tourists in tennis shoes & jeans and underage Long Island girls. I guess no place is good forever.

Don’t go. The servers are extremely rude and condescending. The bartender asked me what I wanted to order when I literally just got seated, I said let me check the menu. He apparently didn’t take it so well and had ignored us for the whole dinner. We cannot get his attention to order anything nor get check. I never posted negative reviews nor have I even seen servers this rude. But I have to post this one.

I celebrated my 60th birthday at the Campbell and was very disappointed. While the server Rae was great, as was Jonathan with whom we coordinated the event, I plus 5 of my guests say they found the manager on site rude. Moreover when I shared my experience with the overall management, I received lip service and no real interest in understanding what went wrong or how they could learn from it in the future. In retrospect the bar was not that crowded and there was no need for us to reserve and pay a minimum.
Examples of my and my guests complaints:
Our tab was closed at 11:30 pm while the bar was still serving. Moreover, there was no communication of where we stood on the minimum, and the bill was presented to me with ~ a $500 minimum included in the bill and absolutely no mention of it to me. I have hosted numerous other events with minimums and the practice is to inform the party of where they stand relative to the minimum well before the bill is closed so the host understands if they need to order more. Offensive to not communicate about the additional charge.
The manager told one guest that they could not have tap-water (which was being served to other guests) and that we had to order bottled water since we had a minimum — I fail to understand the logic, especially given we had a minimum.
While some people were very drunk, I witnessed the manager not serve other people in our party who were not drunk.
I also witnessed him tell my guests they needed to hold their voices down as other guests were complaining. I did not see anyone who appeared annoyed, again the bar was not crowded and it is a relatively noisy bar.
Overall it became a contentious night and not what I expected for my 60th birthday and not what I would expect spending that amount of money. For what it’s worth, as reference we were at The Wallace the previous night as part of our celebration and found the level of service and professionalism great and on an entirely different level. Very disappointing.

Stopped in tonight and half the space had a private party. The bartender immediately spotted us and said hello while handing us a menu. He introduced himself as Scott and made the best old fashioned and margarita that I’ve had in I can’t remember how long.
The space is magnificent but the staff is top notch.

A must-visit spot especially for Gossip Girl fans with such a fascinating history! We dug into its past and fell in love with it even more. The espresso martinis were incredible, and the atmosphere and staff made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Fantastic service through and through from the host staff to the events manager. Everyone is so pleasant to work with and incredibly accommodating every time I have worked with them. My go-to spot to book business meetings that feel a bit elevated. Fantastic cocktails and mocktail list.
Do yourself a favor— find the elevator, find the Campbell, and ask for Justin. What a dream!
Worth a visit to this trendy little place, within Grand Central Station

I have hosted a few corporate client events at The Campbell, and we always receive positive feedback on the venue. It is also always a breeze working with the Events Manager, Tara! Highly recommend the space.
Justin, our bartender, was absolutely outstanding, and Kevin, the barback, showed incredible attentiveness. Together, they made an amazing team! They ensured we felt welcomed and well cared for. The cocktails were fantastic, the food was delicious, and the overall experience was exceptional. They had us laughing the entire time, making our visit thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you so much!

Located within the iconic Grand Central Terminal, this historic bar and lounge offers a charming old-school rustic ambiance. Their Negroni and Penicillin cocktails are exceptional—be sure to request Ardbeg for the latter. While the food menu is limited to classic bar bites, every dish we sampled was packed with flavor. The service is quick and attentive, adding to the experience. However, it tends to get especially crowded on Thursday nights, so it's advisable to wait for a spot inside.

beautiful space ! Scott was our bartender and he was an absolute Gem, so professional and it’s so hard to find these days . I came in .. in a somewhat not good place with my partner and Scott cut right through any awkwardness and we left in a much better place because of him. Don’t lose him! he’s a keeper !
