Food was amazing, but service left much to be desired. It took multiple requests and we waited 15 minutes just to simply get tartar sauce for the fish and chips. Aside from giving us our food, the servers paid us no attention. For a nicer restaurant on the more expensive side, we were expecting more than just the bare minimum. We will not be coming back.

I'm surprised by how much I enjoy eating at this place. Someone taught these employees perfectly. The food offers freshness, great flavor, and many choices. This restaurant wasn't the gem reviews claimed it to be. I can't resist coming back here.

Their food hits flavor notes other places miss. The workers here are incredibly welcoming. The decor creates a distinct identity for this place. Nothing unusual about how the food tasted. The flavors here are incredible!

The Clocktower was one of thr best restaurants ive experienced in NYC. The food was spectacular; all of it. The Tandoori Chicken and Shepherd's PIe were stellar as well as the Tuna Carpaccio. The cocktails were unique and tasty and the service was great. I loved the atmosphere and ambiance but at some points it was far too loud. Overall an excellent experience and highly recommended.

The best for breakfast as 7am. Don’t even think twice.
Meh food, very corporate, AC is freeezing, all guys here corporate guys with suit I guess why AC is freeeeezing, bathroom seats are never down; super annoying. Service is good but very slow. Average per person is not expensive though so I guess can’t complain. The vibe is very very very very good! Won’t come back again for the food may just stay at the bar area. Also British food I mean….edible I guess

Excellent service, food quality and ambience for a high-end family birthday dinner for 4. The Beef Wellington for two is exceptionally unique and nicely prepared, as are all of the other menu items including desserts. The adjacent pool table room and bar are also worth visiting before or after the meal. Staff were personable and attentive. Parked nearby along Madison Square Park, a nice walk before or after the meal also. Located within the upscale and well-designed Edition hotel. There’s a main elevator set to the restaurant (press the touchscreen button that says Restaurant), and also a winding spiral staircase the hotel staff will direct you toward. Reservations were easy to arrange online.

Elegant Dining in a Timeless Setting
I had the pleasure of dining at The Clocktower two weeks ago, located inside the beautiful Edition Hotel. This restaurant offers a perfect blend of historic charm and elevated British-American fare in a posh, club-like setting — complete with cozy dining rooms and even a lounge with a pool table.
We started with their house-made sourdough bread, served warm and absolutely irresistible. I could have eaten the whole basket myself!
For appetizers, we had the steak tartare and seared scallops. The tartare was fresh and flavorful, beautifully seasoned to highlight the quality of the beef. The scallops were perfectly seared — tender, fresh, and incredibly tasty.
For the main course, we shared the Beef Wellington for two, and it was outstanding. The pastry was golden and flaky, the beef cooked to perfection — tender and flavorful with every bite. It truly lived up to the high expectations.
The service and ambiance added to the experience — refined yet relaxed, perfect for a special night out.
Highly recommend The Clocktower if you’re looking for a high-end dining experience with timeless elegance and top-tier food.

Great atmosphere, but really impatience service, went there for birthday dinner, and make a note on the reservation, only the person brought us to the table got friendly service. The Wellington is salty not that worth of a try, the scallops are really good.

Met Andrew at the bar last night such a nice guy! He made me the best Vesper martini I’ve had during my time here in New York.
I’ll definitely come back for another before I fly back to Europe next week. The bar menu is also quite good. I really enjoyed the sliders.
Vielen Dank Clocktower!!
