Was recommended the breakfast burrito but I was left disappointed.

The avocado could have used more salt + acid, and it was all lumped in the center, good quantity though.

I think there was only like 2 slices of bacon and 3 tater tots in it.

The burrito could have been toasted / griddled IMO for the price ($15.5).

It is nice that the default price doesn't include meat though.

Just had their BTL and wow 👌🏼 it was so good the spicy mayo was a perfect pair with the thick cut bacon. Will be back again

So disappointed. Asked for my sandwhich extra toasted and was literally not toasted at all and bread was soggy and stale.

My go-to for 10 years! I can’t start my day without an almond latte here. It truly makes my day better. The staff and owner are all friendly and attentive and the food is delicious. There is no place like the The Commons Chelsea and it’s my first stop as soon as I return from any trips. Commons Chelsea is

Nice quaint spot to get your morning fix. Oat milk latte with some cinnamon and a very intriguing breakfast sandwich. Egg, mushroom and goat cheese great flavor. If you are walking by give a shot, if you live in the neighborhood make it a staple.

Vegetarian options: They have options for all.

Edit since I can't reply: I verified the prices for the meat and non-meat options before posting my review. They are $17.99 and $15.99, respectively. Leaving a mid-range review for mid-range service is, in my opinion, not "bashing". Given the owner's condescending response I think a 3-star is more than the business deserves.

Below average breakfast burrito and bad coffee. The menu prices when ordering pickup through their preferred app are higher than what’s posted on-site, which I found dishonest.

I got a BLT and added avocado. It came on a nice toasted Brioche bun I was not expecting the spicy kick of the mayo, nice fresh, thick tomatoes, baby leaf lettuce, and a good amount of bacon…overall a very good BLT.

The mushroom goat cheese egg sandwich is AMAZING! The challah brioche roll was light and perfect with the huge serving of eggs. Fast service, delicious food, great options. Their house made hot sauce tipped the scales to be the best egg sandwich on my list.

The Commons low key sells my favorite BEC in the city, which has a soft and tender scramble, solid bacon, some chili flakes for background heat and flavor, and served on a roll. Would be the first place I take a visitor for a BEC.

Great, great coffee at The Commons Chelsea!

I always love to swing by when I am in the area for an excellent espresso. It is a small but well-curated location, and the staff is always super friendly and smiley.

Best egg sandwich ever . I would have given a five but they stopped using real cups and serving coffee only on paper cups and I stopped going everyday
