I had an incredible experience at Consulate restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The escargot and bone marrow were amazing, offering a true taste of French cuisine. The restaurant's beautiful design and atmosphere added to the overall experience. Okan, our server, was incredibly hospitable, and KAT, the manager, was fabulous and even helped me book an event. I also have to mention the fantastic Martini made by bartender Kiril. This place is definitely a hidden gem. Highly recommended!

The service was incredible. Everyone is so welcoming and super professional. Food is very good and delicious. I had bone Marrow, truffle fries also we had escargots and 16 oz dry- aged T bone( I didn’t got chance to take a pic of it cause it was so delicious) also for the dessert we got upside down pineapple cake.Ambience was ON TOP! Definitely recommend to visit! It’s a perfect location close to Central Park,Times Square if you visiting from outside and staying in the area you must visit this place!

Came here for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing!! Such a beautiful space and lovely staff. Our server was so attentive, the food was delicious . 10/10 recommend will definitely be coming back for more !!

We were super happy whenever our hotel (Kimpton Theta) could get us a reservation here for 9 people here last minute. I like that they offered Seating was comfortable! I like that they offered cost check and the decor/ambiance was spot of for the location. Music was pretty eclectic, in my opinion, it didn’t really work with the upscale environment. We started with the escargot and octupus — escargot 10/10, octupus 10/10. The group was very impressed with these two starters alongside our meals. The specials were delicious as was the steak frites (can’t go wrong!). We were over impressed with the short rib pasta dish, it lacked complexity and tasted more of a “comfort” meal than something of fine dining. The fries were really good- crispy and crunchy, shoe string style. Our waiter, Javier, was personable and kind! He was generous enough to give us complimentary desserts for the 3 kids of the group! Thanks Javier!

Honestly im very upset with this place. I had made a reservation for my girlfriend and I to celebrate her birthday. Everything went really well honestly up until the very end. They ended up giving her the wrong dessert and not even singing happy birthday. I normally wouldnt care much but it just makes things worse because this past birthday, many of her friends and relatives forgot her birthday, including her own parents, so that really spoiled the night for her. She had to hold back from crying in the restaurant, and to make it even worse, is that our server did realize that they messed up and apologized, but only removed what she actually ordered from the bill. It just really sucks because throughout the night we kept feeling like we were being forgotten, but we chalked it up to it being possibly busy and not a big deal to have empty plates sitting at our table for a very long time. This was supposed to be the thing that flipped her night around and make her enjoy her birthday but now she still feels bad so thanks for that ?

I came here with a group of girlfriends for restaurant week dinner. Service was overall great. Our server, in particular, talked a good game, especially when it came to cocktails and food. I enjoyed the refreshing ginger optional cocktail. The food was not impressive. I ordered the soup, salmon, and blueberry Panna cotta. I enjoyed my meal. However, my friend ordered the scallops risotto, and the risotto was undercooked, then replaced the meal with the same salmon dish I ordered, and it was rushed. My friends ordered the rabbit Taglatelle and they enjoyed it. My friend ordered the steak frites, which was less steak and more fries. I may return to try their happy hour menu.
