This place is not vegan but several of the dishes can be made vegan & chef Patrick was glad to accommodate. I ordered the lentil soup, quinoa salad & Brussels. EVERYTHING was delicious 😋😋😋 & the portion sizes were very generous so i had enough to take home for lunch tomorrow! The lentil soup is house made, not from the can & i could taste the love ❤️ right along with the chopped carrots, celery & onions. The seasonings in the soup married together nicely; nice consistency, not too thick but still hearty. The quinoa salad was AMAZING!!! I didn't expect it to be so flavorful since this is not a vegan restaurant but the dressing was so tasty, the arugula was fresh & the tomatoes with sautéed onions layered well. The brussels delectable, seared not burnt & balsamic glaze on top added a nice touch. Service was fantastic, the Chef even came out to ask if I liked everything; I told him NO, I don't like it, I LOVE it & will definitely back. Don't let the menu fool you, this place has great options for vegans & the prices are reasonable.

I had a very disappointing experience at The Corner Lounge. The atmosphere among the staff seemed tense, and the owner was noticeably aggressive and disrespectful when speaking to them. It created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming vibe.
There were clear hygiene issues in the kitchen area — dishes didn’t appear to be washed properly, and frozen food was left out in disorganized conditions. I noticed questionable handling of ingredients that raised serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety.
Overall, this place does not seem to treat its team well, and the lack of professionalism shows. I hope they take steps to improve both their hygiene standards and the way they manage their staff.

Went with some friends and honestly had a pretty uncomfortable experience. The menu had a lot of options, but when we tried to order, they told us several items weren’t available. When we pointed it out, the owner got visibly upset and didn’t handle it professionally.
The vibe in the place just felt off and kind of tense. I personally didn’t feel comfortable at all. Wouldn’t go back. something there just doesn’t feel right.

I went to The Corner Lounge recently and was really turned off by what I saw. The table we were seated at had an odd smell, and when I checked under the bench, I was shocked to find what looked like leftover food crumbs and signs of pest activity — possibly mice.
The general cleanliness of the place didn’t seem up to standard, and that made us uncomfortable. We ended up deciding to leave. Definitely not what we expected, especially for a place in Harlem. Needs serious cleaning and inspection.

My family and I stayed close by and this place didnt show as a restaurant until our last night. Had i known about the corner lounge on night one, we would have eaten here every night. The food was amazing, the service, outstanding. 10/10 DEFINITELY recommend.
How you ever felt in the mood to eat out, but didn’t know what to eat? Well here’s the solution. The flavors at this location are off the chart, the service is friendly and on point, and don’t sleep on the wide variety of high quality dishes. This restaurant doesn’t just deserve 5 stars you can tell that it was earned. Also shout out to the chef who was also our server. If I could cook like him, mannnnnnn i don’t know if I could be as humble.
