Went for high tea. Scones were good. Sandwiches were pre-made and bread had dried out. Filling was good. Showed up for a 4pm reservation. Table not ready and tablecloth was dirty. Server was nice and doing his best, receptionist a little overwhelmed. Had gone for drinks/light apps a couple days before and all that was solid. Mussels perfectly cooked. They just have to fix the sandwich issue. Wouldn’t fly in England.

Have been here before for work meet ups and leisure. Never fails each time I go. I recently went for another work meeting and loved everything from the food, cocktails (thanks Bruce) and ambience. My party and I were seated in the new patio style area which was gorgeous. Tracy our server for the day was great and super friendly. Will be back again.

Horrible staff. The amount of misogynistic comments I heard behind the bar was just staggering. The minute I walked in, the bartender throws me the menu and proceeds to ask me “what do you want?” No hello, no hi how are you. I of course complain, to the manager who was very sweet but, As I’m drinking my wine, I hear a lady complain about how she asked for a check but didn’t get it before another man did, even though she asked for it first. Understandable, bartenders get confused or caught up. But it was a Monday night…. 8pm….. The lady proceeds to say “oh it’s because I’m a woman”. At first it seemed that she was just upset. But when the lady left, I completely understood why she was upset. The bartenders then proceeded to gossip, literally, while on duty, right in front of me about the situation. One of them is explaining the situation but the other goes, “oh yeah that’s exactly why you don’t get your check first, because you’re a woman”. Joking about the situation!! The same bartender that disrespected me the minute I walked in!! It was just so disrespectful. Can believe they treat people who are spending their hard earned money like this!! If I could give this place negative stars I would!!

Amazing afternoon experience! The experience comes with your choice of tea, and prefix afternoon course with three plates including a variety of sandwiches, scones, and sweets. The china were so cute matching the cute interior of the restaurant. The sandwiches were so flavorful. We get our own tea pot with hot water available for refill. I was so full I had to take home half of the desserts! Make sure to get a reservation in advance!

Probably worst breakfast I’ve ever had in NYC. Eggs benedict was just depressing and came with a steep price of $28…. Hashbrown potato’s tasted stale and was inedible. Highly disappointing as I’ve visited Crosby Bar before for dinner and was amazing food. Just would steer clear of for breakfast. Servers also gave weird vibes after I told them I wasn’t staying at the hotel and instead was just visiting for breakfast.

I stopped by the Crosby Bar for a breakfast meeting this morning and had a wonderful overall experience. The restaurant is lively and beautiful. If you are looking for a fancy breakfast experience in the Soho area of New York, the Crosby Bar or Balthazar right across the street are your best bets.

The Crosby Bar is a true gem for food lovers looking for an exceptional dining experience. Each dish served demonstrates unrivaled quality and finesse, combining fresh ingredients and impeccable presentation. The sautéed vegetables, vibrant in color and cooked to perfection, are both tender and crunchy, revealing careful preparation and a perfect balance of natural taste and subtle seasonings.

The tomato and burrata salad, with its juicy and tasty tomatoes accompanied by a melting burrata, creates a harmony of flavors that recalls the most beautiful flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. This dish, simple in appearance, reveals all the complexity and care taken in the selection of ingredients.

Finally, the main course, beautifully presented, combines vegetables, mushrooms and proteins with a remarkable eye for detail. The mushrooms, lightly caramelized, add an earthy touch while the quinoa accompanies the whole thing lightly, bringing texture and contrast to the dish. The cooking is controlled, allowing each element to fully express itself in a symphony of flavors.

The ambiance of the Crosby Bar, both chic and warm, is ideal for enjoying dishes of this quality, and the attentive service completes an already memorable experience.

I was in dare need to turn on my phone, but host said she can only help me if I dine with them. I ordered one item, server got it incorrectly, so after I got my phone back, I had to sit down and wait for my dessert to go for about 15 minutes. I am glad I was able to turn my phone on for $16. Been here before few times, did not expect that helping someone to plug in the phone for few minutes is such a trouble, after all it’s called hospitality.

With no reservation we didn’t have to wait too long for a table for two. We had such a great and attentive server and the restaurant is filled with a very eclectic selection of art. I had the best ravioli I think I’ve ever had as an appetizer. The fries were delicious and salad was amazing. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and will definitely come back if I have the chance.

Disrespectful bar manager when you paid for his minimum wage. They won’t charge your phone and were so dramatic about it - just explain politely that your policy prohibits it and that’s it. Why the staffs working at the hotel front desk, hostess, bar manager, etc. all be like hehe we won’t charge your phone go deal with it… it’s not like we live in a place with no electricity…why so frugal about it and ruin the whole vibe…just bizarre

I used to really enjoy afternoon tea at Crosby (I've been a regular for many years), but it's been terribly noisy the last few times I've been. I had to shout at my friend for the duration of my stay. Also, the service is not as good as it used to be. It took a long time for a server to take our order for tea. The concierge at the entrance was very nice, though. I appreciate how nice they usually are. The sandwiches were very dry and there were handprints on them. I prefer when the sandwich bread was fluffy--these days they seem to flatten the bread, which makes it dense. The scones are still good, but more dry than I recall. I do appreciate that they are nice and warm. The desserts are consistently good, and presentation of afternoon tea is wonderful.

Always enjoy dining here when in town. The hostess was awesome and super accommodating for how busy they were. Thank you for always providing such a wonderful experience at the Crosby.

High tea is not great. Warm scones only good thing. Sandwiches were cold/old, deserts were stale. Charged extra for iced tea.

The dining room is beautifully decorated which creates a nice, relaxing environment. We had brunch there and it was the perfect way to finish off the morning. The food was excellent and there were choices for everyone. Loved it and would go back.
