I recently dined at your restaurant and was met with a series of unfortunate events that left me feeling disrespected and overcharged. As an international student, managing expenses is crucial, and my visit to your establishment has been both financially and emotionally taxing. To begin with, I was not made aware of a policy that imposes fines for unfinished meals. This lack of communication was the first of several service issues. Further exacerbating the situation was the fact that I was erroneously billed twice for Diet Coke and soju, an error that went uncorrected despite my attempts to resolve it peacefully. The response from the staff when I chose not to tip--due to the unsatisfactory service--was far from professional. Instead of understanding my concerns, I felt threatened and pressured to pay what I believe was an unfair total of $160.

Rating: 3.5 stars My friend and I stopped by on a Friday night at 8:30 PM and the restaurant was completely packed. I thankfully had made a reservation so we were seated a couple of minutes after we arrived in a comfortable side booth for two. Service was fast and our server was super nice. You order everything on the iPad but the total of everything was quite hefty especially for the amount of food you get. For my broth, I got the creamy pork broth and tomato broth. The tomato broth was disappointing since it was super watered down. However, the pork broth was so delicious, I would recommend just getting the pork broth next time. For meats we only ordered a ribeye. The quality of the ribeye we got was so good. It was shaved so thinly that it cooked in only a few seconds and was perfect. We got other items as well like veggies and meat/fish balls which were all very tasty but pretty much like all other hot pot places in the city. I did really like their sauce and dessert station. There was a great selection of sauce choices. And the tiny cut fruit, fermented sweet rice and popping jelly were such a great end to a meal. The main issue I had though was that the floor of the restaurant especially around the sauce area was super sticky and gross. I'm sure it is hard to clean with so many customers around but would be nice to be more mindful of it. All in all, a nice hot pot location but not sure if the hefty price tag is fully worth it.

I have eaten at many hotpot places but this was one of the best. The service makes you feel like a very important guest and the interior of the restaurant feels cool and modern. As others have mentioned, this place can get quite expensive. However, I feel they are overlooking the fantastic deal available with the individual "sets" available. When selecting a set, the fee for the broth is included, as well as the fee for using the "sauce bar" and you get a pretty large quantity of food. I dined with two other people and we each ordered our own set plus an additional plate of lamb, frozen tofu and some fresh bamboo shoots a la cart. We were stuffed by the end and the total came out to around $50 a person. If you're attempting to eat here on a budget, the sets are definitely the way to go. I initially found it sort of silly that you need to pay per person to use the sauce bar here if you don't get a pre set meal, but the sauce bar is really so much more than that. It's a long table with fresh fruit and snacks and cold salads in addition to the sauces and you definitely could fill up on stuff from here if you found your pre set meal didn't include enough food. However, the plate of meat they give you per person is quite large. The hallmark of a good hot pot spot for me, is whether or not the broth is able to sufficiently season your food. Some cheaper places leave you leaning on your sauce to season every bite, but here, it's possible to enjoy without covering everything in sauce. We ordered a plate of bamboo shoots in addition to our sets and I have never had fresh bamboo like this before. It was so delicious, like a subtly sweet tender asparagus. The meat was all tender and high quality and the vegetable plate seemed well portioned for one person. It also included some shrimp paste which I've never tried before. When cooked it created a beautiful bouncy shrimp ball which I really enjoyed. I had a great time here and will definitely come back as I am intrigued by the all you can eat deal they begin offering late night. The soft serve ice cream cone they offer you at the end is just the icing on the cake!

As a fervent fan of hot pot cuisine, I can confidently say that this gem nestled in Manhattan holds a special place in my heart. What truly sets this hot pot restaurant apart is the impeccable quality of both the ingredients and the service. The selection of meats, seafood, and vegetables is unparalleled, with each item fresh and carefully sourced.

My family and I visited your location at Flushing , the food was delicious, the service was not so friendly but we were okHowever ,what was very unprofessional is that when we paid our bill of $260 , we tip $20.00The hostess then came to our table very loud and asked why we tip $20 and that we should tip the suggested amount of $46.00 because that’s the LAW in New York.We did pay the $46 because we felt very embarrassed as this was not said to us in a discreet manner .It wasn’t just what was said to us it was her unprofessional, unmannered actions as well .Much unpleasant taste of experience..

I was a regular at Dolar Shop Seattle and was super excited to try it out in NY. I was super disappointed by the service in NY. Our server didn’t check on us once. We needed to constantly wave them down to get any support, like more water or even just to get the food we ordered. We weren’t even finished eating when the server came and put the bill on the table, we hadn’t even been at the table for 45 minutes. Food was delicious, as expected, but if I’m paying $60+/ person, I would hope the server would at least be polite.

Excellent! Great location with fresh ingredients. However, service could be improved; had to chase the waiters to add things. Still, it's the best I've been to in Manhattan so far.

Great hot pot and price is very reasonable! Would recommend for a memorable experience. I do wish they would expand seafood options - for example adding octopus, clams, etc.
