No matter the dish, it always hits the spot and I'm always pleased that I'm paying for a dish that isn't outrageous compared to other restaurants in the area that are serving similar items. My wife and I stopped in for brunch yesterday while gallivanting through Harlem. I ordered the shrimp and grits w/ eggs. The food was very unseasoned - not even a speck of pepper in sight. I had to drown my grits and eggs in red pepper sauce just to taste something. Conversely, the chocolate chip bread pudding was absolutely delicious.Apparently, they only offer wine and beer + agave based cocktails, which means there’s no Wray and Nephew in the rum punch.Service was more coffee shop than restaurant. The bartender/barista was nice, but spent most of his time gazing through his phone vis-a-vis developing and fostering relationships with customers.

Went for a solo brunch and had the jerk chicken and waffle. Also had a half carafe of sangria, but next time I want to try their ginger hibiscus mimosa. My bill was under $40, so a really good value for the amount of food and booze. Highly recommend!

My server Peta was very helpful and knowledgeable about food choices. I had the chance to meet one of the owners Justine. She was very pleasant and nice. I would visit again,

Came here on Sunday with 6 friends. We made a reservation ahead of time because it tends to get a little busy, and the table was already ready when we arrived. Once we ordered, our food came quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I got the shrimp and Parmesan grits, which were delicious. The restaurant was consistently busy the whole time as well.
