I was a doctor appointment and was hungry after the visit. I found this location walking to the train station. It has a typical diner style. They also have a full bar at this diner. The location look clean. Serve was quick and the breakfast was good. I couldn't complain about anything.

I love a diner. This is one of the best. I only eat hamburgers here and they are flame broiled. Served deluxe you get fries better than most places in town with a thick tomato slice and a hunk of head lettuce which I eat separately. Can’t do better in midtown.

A friend invited me to meet for lunch at The Flame diner. My first time but not my last. This I a classic New York City restaurant. Excellent food, fair prices and excellent service. I will definitely be going back there.
