I've long been a fan of the Flatiron Room, but my most previous experience was the most disappointing. The seating was so close together that waiters were reaching over myself to get to other tables, not too mention the overall area behind where I was sitting was too overcrowded, I was being bumped by constantly by other customers or wait staff. And the biggest letdown was the service; my date and I were there to enjoy drinks only, and when our waiter heard of this, his friendly service immediately turned into the worst service ever. Hardly coming to the table to serve us, I had to catch other waiters to even place any order. It's definitely fallen from the cozy vibe of a Flatiron Room I used to know, to more of a frenzied and uncomfortable dining/drink experience. There's no way I can come back here in it's current state.

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. Despite our excitement to celebrate the promotion of our dear colleague, several aspects left us disappointed. As a long-time patron of Flatiron, I must express my concern about the decline in quality that I witnessed during my recent visit.Firstly, the drinks seemed watered down, which was quite disheartening. Additionally, the waiter's persistent attempts to upsell drinks and food disrupted our conversation and made us feel uncomfortable. Constant interruptions, including unnecessary table displays, further detracted from our enjoyment. The situation escalated when our unfinished food was prematurely cleared away, leaving us puzzled and frustrated. Even more perplexing was the removal of the butter while leaving the focaccia bread behind, accompanied by the disappearance of our plates. Despite multiple requests, the plates were not replaced.We will not be visiting again!!

Definitely one of our overall favorite meals while visiting NYC. The atmosphere is perfect NY. The music was fantastic, the whiiskey was superb and food more than delicious. We will definitely be back on our next trip to NYC.

I got crab cakes, a cosmo, & vodka soda. Drinks and food was okay. A little pricey for the quality. However, Atmosphere is amazing! Live music on Monday night was great. I was there by myself as a young woman and I felt the passiveness of the bartender up until he realized i planned to spend over $100, then he was very kind.

My first visit to Flatiron Room did not disappoint. All aspects of my experience were excellent!! Food, service, atmosphere including the live music were amazing. Last but not least the bourbon selection was outstanding!! I did a tasting flight and found a new favorite. Will definitely be returning to this restaurant and also trying the Murray Hill location as well.
The food was amazing! Like jaw drop on the floor amazing. However, there weren't many servers so the service was extremely slow. We waited about 20 minutes just for our check. Which is no fault to the server, but they should definitely work on having more servers and less bussers/food runners standing around. Additionally, we went for a date night and were excited when we got there, but about 10 min in, a table of 3 women got sat behind us. They were SCREAMING the entire dinner. All of the tables around us were looking back and gasping because of how loud they were all literally screaming, and not once were they asked to quiet down, so it definitely ruined the experience for us.

Great drinks but the food was not very good. We sat at the bar. The bartender who served us never asked how our food was so we didn't have an opportunity to give feedback. I would only come back for drinks. Also, the performer shown on line was not who performed, which was disappointing.

Ambiance was amazing, service was good. Loved the live music. Was really really disappointed in the food, especially for the price. Brisket was basically all fat and husband had an issue with his crab cake. Martini was also very disappointing. Was really hopeful based on how awesome the vibe was but overall everyone in my party was dissapointed.

Our waitress Emily was Great ! Very attentive, very helpful excellent customer service skills to say the least !I loved the Octopus, the 24 layer chocolate cake and my steak was cooked to perfection!The liquor selection was unbelievable as well as the atmosphere , the live band was great will definitely be back . Highly recommended!

The place is beautiful and the live music adds to the experience. However it stops there. Food was really pricey for the small portions received. It was also underwhelming. Out of 6 dishes order maybe 2 were amazing. The other subpar and not worth the price. If your a whiskey drinker (I'm not) the menu is unlimited so I wouldn't have known where to start. The recommendations that were given left us both with drinks we barely touched. It's just another expensive restuarant that didn't deliver. There's a lot of expensive restuarant that deliver in NYC. Skip this one.
