Bartender just plain rude. Not even a busy night, just not welcoming at all. Thought he was in a conversation so was waiting patiently when he was apparently ready to take the order so the first thing said when entering was “First time at a bar?” in a really condescending tone. He was continually like this throughout the night. Open and available bar tables weren’t cleaned off for other folks to talk for an hour+. The kicker for me was when two young women were being intensely harassed by a drunk patron he just served, he was just having a cigarette and did nothing, hailing a ride or anything. Overall, just pretty uncomfortable space with too much country music and service that would make me never come back.

A lively neighborhood bar with a welcoming atmosphere, speedy service, and personable owners. Offers a wide variety of beers on tap and a solid selection of spirits.

This is a dive but just what we were looking for to have a beer before a show. Quick. Even though it was the day of the pride parade we were able to find a table. No food

Loved this laid back bar. Their prices are great. I liked the look and feel of the place. The service is great. Eric is a very good bartender. I would definitely come back.

As a traveler from out of town, I wasn’t sure what to expect walking into this New York City bar—but I’m so glad I did. Tucked into the city’s lively streets, this place delivered one of the best pints of Guinness I’ve had outside of Ireland.
The pour was textbook, classic, Guinness . It’s clear they take pride in how they serve it—no shortcuts, just tradition and care.
The vibe of the bar was equally impressive—welcoming, with that authentic New York energy, but not overwhelming. As a visitor, it felt like a local favorite that also embraces newcomers. The bartender, Mike, even asked how I liked my pint, which made the experience feel personal. He made outstanding conversation while he ran a tight ship bar. Every patron was glad to be in his presence.
If you’re in NYC and looking for a proper Guinness, this spot should be on your list. It’s proof that even in a city full of options, there are places where quality and hospitality still matter. Cheers!
I had the time of my life at this place. They play the best music and the bartenders act like you’re old friends. The bartender, Mike, was especially warm and welcoming and made me feel like I was right at home in Pittsburgh like Cheers. 10/10 would go again.
A Great Irish Guinness Pub, met a Marine standing outside who was a bartender about to open up and I stopped by next time I was in the area.
Great hospitality and regulars and the NA Guiness was a satisfying as a tap poured Guiness on a warm spring day.
Don't come here as a tourist; a racist and rude bartender will 'welcome' you

Nice quiet(er) bar to warm up on a cold day. Reasonable drink prices and nice bartender.
Great bar to meet some friends for a few. Real pub feel. Really nice bartender, bouncer, everyone.
Great dive bar with friendly bartenders and a nice space to hang out in!
We stumbled in here in New Years Day and were welcomed by the nicest group of regulars and staff. Awesome place and wonderful people.
Great bar with a nice Guinness.
