What an amazing experience. Not only was the food spectacular, but the staff made the experience even better. Starting from being greeted by Marx who made you feel like you were at home, to Maria who brought us champagne because we said it was my husband birthday. Coco the manager topped off the experience by acknowledging her amazing staff. If you want a true New York experience i recommend this place highly!

Located on the second floor of the building. Ordered drinks at the small bar. Wine list is limited. The grate on the bar was bent causing drinks to spill.
Very popular so make a reservation.

Excellent Italian food! I was quite surprised at their creatively done dishes, and they were all delicious. From the Caesar salad to the branzino, the scampi linguine (I believe it was homemade fresh noodles) to the bread and wine, everything was a delight -- including the service from our waitress.

We absolutely loved every dish at The Frenchmen’s Dough! From start to finish, the experience was flawless.

We began with the crispy calamari topped with parmesan, lemon, and salsa verde — a perfect balance that elevated a classic starter. The Caesar salad (market lettuce, parmesan, sourdough croutons, caesar dressing) completely surprised us; it wasn’t just a side salad, it was a star on its own. Fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable.

But the true standout? The Gnocco Fritto. OMGOSH — this bread is DIVINE! Light, fluffy, sweet, and savory all at once. My friends and I literally looked at each other in disbelief. It was exquisite — the kind of dish you remember long after the meal ends.

For our mains, we shared the Spicy Sausage & Mushroom pizza and the Truffle Shuffle pizza. The crust was perfection, airy yet crisp, and the toppings were bold and beautifully balanced. The Spicy Sausage and Truffle Shuffle, especially, was out of this world.

Overall, The Frenchmen’s Dough is a 5/5 in every sense. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in — your tastebuds will thank you as they transcend into another dimension!

The food is good, but the service is disappointing. I asked the waitress if an item could be made without chili, and she said yes, so I ordered it. After that, our appetizers showed up pretty quickly, but there was a long lag before my dining partners pasta showed, and mine didn’t come out until 10 minutes after. Sadly, my pasta was spicy, so I had to send it back. After the long wait we didn’t have time for anything else to be made, so I had to leave without eating lunch. I understand that mistakes happen, but for the price point that this place is the service should be a higher caliber. I would have happily ordered something else if it was too difficult to remove the chili from the pasta that I inquired about.

When we arrived the service was impeccable. Then it wasnt. Odd part is as the dining room slowed the service disappeared. You should never have to wave down your server when your table is next to the wait station. Wine list is weakfor by the glass as well. Ok now for the pizza. Notice I gave an overall 5 even with poor service. That is because the pizza is a strong 7. We tried the margarita and the limone. Both were paper thin and delicious but lets talk about the limone a minute. I am a pizza guy and non-traditional is a hard sell for me and I usually call it flatbread. Well the limone is a non-traditional pie with sliced preserved lemons sliced paper thin, fresh ricotta and a bit of pepper flake. Totally sounds terrible to a traditional pizza lover but this thing was crazy good. Still not a pizza to me but a slightly tart yet creamy delicious flatbread that I will eat every time I am in the area. Great spot for food. They need work on service.

5/5 stars 🌟️!!! Frenchman's is a MUST-VISIT in the city! Their dough is TO DIE FOR crispy, and the truffle pizza flavors are insane! 🤯 But what really sets them apart is the service. Coco, the manager, is an absolute sweetheart who made sure we had everything we needed and more. And Felix behind the bar? 🤩 He's a mixology wizard who crafted the perfect cocktails to pair with our pizza and calamari. The whole experience was top-notch, can't wait to go back and get my fix again! 💯 Highly recommend!
