Food totally uninspired...nothing like the other Jean-Georges restaurantsSetting beautiful, fantastic views. Noise level like a rock concert. High price...only to impress someone you don't want to talk to.

If you want a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge, we recommend checking to see if the second floor is open before visiting!!One of the reasons people visit this restaurant is the view of the Brooklyn Bridge. However, when I visited for weekend brunch, I had to sit on the first floor because the second floor was not open, and the first floor did not have a good view... but the food was delicious.

What a great culinary experience! The Fulton is a high level restaurant offering great service and delicious dishes. I love their menu, everything on the menu is carefully selected and crafted for a spectacular food experience!I came here on an early dinner on Sunday and it was easy to make a reservation. The table we got had a wonderful view over the Brooklyn bridgeFood, I cannot talk enough about it! Everything was too delicious, explosion of flavors! My winner was the calamari salad. So refreshing and delicious! I tried several desserts too and chocolate lava cake was amazing!

The view and atmosphere is the highlight. Service is up to standard for New York. The food is over complicated and doesnt taste like it’s meant to be eaten, but also does not have a great presentation.Items ordered: caesar salad / tuna tartare / fried swordfish disaster?Caesar salad was fine. It was very untraditional which is fine.Tuna tartare was good. Needs crackers or bread to enjoy properly.Fried swordfish Disaster should be avoided. Not good. Ate enough to not be hungry and let it go to the dishwasherDessert was actually fantastic which seems to be an accident. The ice cream is great and the tart and brownie were great.Overall, the food needs to be simplified and perfected. Perhaps a fish almondine to replace the fried swordfish disaster.Wife had steak, it was nothing special but this is a seafood restaurant.

My wife and I ate here a few years ago and wanted to return with our daughter; for a Friday night the restaurant was quite, not many patrons for such a large restaurant and I was concerned that perhaps the experience wouldn’t live up to expectations.Boy, was I wrong…we had the chef’s menu which is served family style and represents a full portion of the best dishes offered. It was excellent, the oysters were clean and fresh, the sashimi and crudo used local fluke, wow!Octopus with mozzarella, salad with squid, arugula salad, lobster pasta, bass….if you want a seafood/fish meal that just stands out in flavor, spice, freshness and pure joy, go to The Fulton.PS….the wines are reasonable, wide selection and the wait staff are knowledgeable!

To expensive for what u get. For a fish restaurant not that special. Ok the food is good. But the price quality balance is gone. The atrium where u can eat looks a little bit like an cantina. Yes the view on the Brooklyn bridge is nice. The service is good. This is definitely not a Michelin star restaurant.

My husband and I are big fans of Chef Jean Georges (his food, and as a person) so we were really looking forward to visiting the Fulton. In such a gorgeous building and beautiful setting overlooking the East River and Brooklyn Bridge, we were shocked to be able to walk in on a Saturday night with no reservation. We were shown a seat with a lovely view but we prefer the bar, and they were able to accommodate us even being able to eat at the bar on the second level. Our bartender was amazing- he made great drinks, offered top notch service and was a delight to chat with. They were unfortunately out of the egg toast but we had amazing caviar with salmon tartare on brioche which was exquisite. We chose the Friends and Family Feast which os hand selected by the kitchen nightly, but some of the house favorite dishes. Everything was incredible and I cannot recommend this experience enough! Also the ginger marg - one of the best margs ever.

Aside from the prices, this place is amazing. It is so amazing that I sprung for my own birthday dinner. When it comes to the burger, a burger that I could eat for dinner, lunch and breakfast (please consider breakfast service!), it is simply the best. For you seafood folks, my family could have been fisher-persons and they love the dishes. Seriously, one member tried to lick the plates (ok, he is 17 months old and not a renowned seafood person but he cleaned his plate!).Highly recommended!!

Absolutely amazing. Host was welcoming and gave us the best corner table with the best view of the Brooklyn bridge (we were doing an early bird dinner). Service was impeccable and non-intrusive but attentive. Best burger I’ve ever had. Tuna carpaccio was perfection. Gorgeous dinner room but not stuffy. So cozy.Unbelievable Gruyère burger. Perfectly cooked and not too greasy. My friend’s bass was delicious. Tuna carpaccio was perfectly balanced and one of the best I’ve ever had. Our server was amazing. She gave the best recommendations. We ordered mocktails with our preferences (sparkling, spicy, sour and sweet) and got a masterpiece of a drink. I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of everything (service, food, ambiance and for our old gen x ears, music level was PERFECT). Cookie was the perfect ending to the meal. Considering we were just going out for a casual after work dinner in a total tourist trap destination, south street seaport, it was truly the highlight of my week. We’re New Yorkers who eat out a LOT and I’m floored. Loved everything and will be coming back for the family dinner. I will be taking every client, friend, co-worker, family member here in the future.
