Stopped by on a Friday night for a nightcap after catching a show with my wife. Great local bar of which there are few left. Reminded me of some of the great Irish pubs we used to frequent up & down 2nd Avenue in and around Turtle Bay back in the ‘90’s. Highly recommend.

Found the GAF by looking down a side street for a local bar. What a great experience!! Sam, the bartender makes a great drink & suggested we go downstairs to the Comedy Club, “The Bomb Shelter” Great local talent!!! Leave a big tip. A Diamond in the Rough!!!

White guy with nerdy glasses was working tonight. Clearly was drunk out of his mind and was rude when we asked him for our tab. Either fix it or lose business? Stop having rude, obnoxious people working for your business if you do not want to lose customers. If you expect a tip, be nice. Used to come here, but not anymore thanks!

My wife and I found this place on our last night in the city. It was a block away from our hotel. We stopped in for a couple of drinks and threw some darts. Had a blast. Great bartenders and great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend for anybody that just wants to stop in a fun place and grab a drink.
Went in to catch a quick drink, and ended up going back the rest of the nights we were in town. What an AMAZING place... GAF means home!!

Bestie and I on a Friday night we're looking for a cool place to grab a drink and chat where the music wasn't too loud but the vibe wasn't too bro-y. The Gaf was legit the perfect bar! The bartenders were so friendly, occasionally they played showtunes on the jukebox, and the vibe was low-key. I genuinely can't wait to go back! Downstairs have 2 bathrooms and they do comedy shows down there.
Cool spot, can't wait to go back!
