Our waiter Patrick was outstanding! He went above and beyond to get us the chocolate soufflé as dessert and made sure we are on time for the opera. We will definitely come back.
Always a enjoyable event before the opera. Patrick is our preferred waiter and always makes our evening special.
Because it was a pre opera meal, service was prompt, but not rushed. Food was exceptional. Though the selection was somewhat limited, it was diverse and nicely presented. Nice ambiance
Service was unbelievable, especially JD. Made a great night an extremely special one that we will remember, even more than the opera!
Although I made a reservation well in advice and confirmed it with James, he stuck us at a remote corner table next to a serving cart, with constant annoying staff traffic. Waiter Ricardo was initially attentive but when needed most to check out for curtain time, he walked past our table twice without even looking. (Stunning, how a "professional" server could be so oblivious)
Excellent—service, quality and reliability. Great menu choices and service responsive, respectful and time sensitive.
If your going to the opera, this is a fabulous place to dine. You know you are getting a fine meal with impeccable service, and no worry about missing the overture.
Wonderful service and value - a great way to have an amazing experience that includes delicious cuisine and world class opera.
Convenience as you do not need to deal with crowds going in and/or return at intermission for dessert
Prices are high enough and then they add surcharges on many items. It would be nice to have a regular salad offered as a appetizer instead of an endive salad drowned in a citrus dressing. Bread seemed to be anything but fresh. Very ordinary for the price

Best way to attend the opera and get into seat with minimal difficulty - arrive for dinner and be right at the entry door afterwards. Oh! and the service and menu are excellent, emphasizing seasonal variation. The dessert Pavlova was outstanding!
I have attended an opera at Metropolitan Opera previously. Adding dinner at The Grand Tier for this performance put it over the top in terms of amazing and memorable experience. Excellent service, ambiance and food. Having dessert after Act 1 was so much fun and exciting, not to mention delicious.
My new favorite place to go before a performance at the metropolitan! Little expensive... However, worth the entire experience 100%
Great location. Spectacular food and timely service! Enjoyed having our own table to came back for dessert during the intermission. The food seemed overly expensive, but given the restraints placed on the staff and I assume VERY expensive rental costs, it can't be helped. It was a one time experience for me and family members. We all will remember it.
Staff is friendly and Good is delicious. The pace of service is perfect to catch the performance
