Sad to see this great neighborhood institution close. It was a favorite place to eat whenever I visited NYC.

4 of us shared a bunch of appetizers along with some excellent craft beers, after-dinner drinks and a couple of desserts. One of the best meals I've had recently. Between app-size portions of wild mushroom, bone marrow, artichokes, pork sliders , mussels, cauliflower, mac and cheese and a refreshing beet salad or two... all delicious ....we were well sated and had all shared an abundance of flavorful dishes. Perfect menu for that scattershot approach. Loved it.

This restaurant has been in the neighborhood for quite sometime. The restaurant itself is very spacious. It was my sorority's first official chapter meeting of the year and a few of us decided to "sisterly bond" since we haven't seen each other in many years. The wait was pretty long considering it was t crowded. We had the veggie + beef burger platters, which were nicely prepared and tasty. It was a nice experience and we enjoyed the spot However, it was bit pricey for a burger + fries for Hamilton Heights.Vegetarian options: Salads and veggies sides.Kid-friendliness: I didn't see any children this particular evening.Wheelchair accessibility: There's is outdoor seating.

Service was amazing in this place and food with drinks were good and delicious. I would recommend to get those watermelon saladFrom cons:1. It was super hot inside despite weather outside was cooler2. Lava cake which we have ordered was something else but chocolate lava cake. With pieces of salty oranges on the top

This was, seriously, one of the best meals I've had in New York since 2020. There were 5 of us and we ordered from all parts of the menu and tasted each other's dishes. Everything was delicious! The lamb shank was tender and deliciously sweet & sour. The truffle Mac and cheese was creamy and earthy, but not too spiced for an 11 year old. The beet salad had a great, fresh range of flavors. Our guest of honor ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and exclaimed that she couldn't believe she was raving about a grilled cheese sandwich! We also had Brussels sprouts and grilled artichoke hearts - every dish was tasty and a little bit extra tasty. There's also a full bar and the service could not have been more friendly and accommodating, even with people arriving at different times. Go! You will love The Grange.

We were in the neighborhood and ended up at Grange by happenstance. What fortune for us! Delightful vibe - a warm, intimately lit spot with nostalgic (but unobtrusive) 80s-90s music as a backdrop - and absolutely delicious start to finish. We went the prix dude route. Every dish was thoughtfully designed and well executed. Flavor profiles tended towards punchlines with some zip, from the sesame-oil inflected salad to the surprisingly zingy salmon en papillote. Even the hint of anise in the flourless lava cake's orange reduction was a subtle and welcome surprise. Props to the serving staff; Gigi and the team were all warm and welcoming.

Walked over to this spot from my sister apartment. The vibe was super cute and rustic and it felt very homey/southern but modern too, and I loved the exposed brick. Our waitress was new to the place but was super sweet and did an awesome job serving us. As for the food, I appreciated the option of avocado toast because I wasn't looking for a large meal. There is a hard boiled egg on the toast which I thought would be better if it was soft boiled. But the balsamic reduction was delicious and the so was the addition of the thinly cut radish. The fries were also dank, I switched them out for the home fries which was a great decision. My sister got the home fries with her pork eggs benny and they didn't look crispy, which I personally love my crispy potatoes so i'm glad I chose fries. Her pork eggs benny was delicious, I had a small bite which I appreciated her giving me. My mom had an egg on toast, which was a large brioche slice and she got a side of hollandaise sauce. My dad got the chicken and waffle sandwich which was huge! He really enjoyed it and was able to finish the whole thing. We also got a side of bacon for the table which was fire. The bacon was super crispy and you could definitely taste the hickory flavor. Overall, cute spot but not many menu options I was looking for. My sister comes here all the time for brunch and they also do bottomless but we did not partake in that this time around! Next time I come by I will definitely get bottomless.

A gem in West Harlem. Excellent food, drink, service, and ambiance. Came for dinner on a Sunday night and the live jazz trio was stellar. Their cauliflower bites, burger, and salmon are especially good. Will come back for another romantic evening with my partner. Thanks for a lovely experience!!

Comfortable Restaurant and Bar with ample seating. Great selection of food and drinks. The service was spot on with the right amount of attention. We have been going to this place since it first opened for both dinner and drinks.

I came here for brunch today with a friend at noon. The place was decently full for having just opened at 11. We sat outside since the weather was nice and they had covered seating. The restaurant is in a little bit of a rough area, but I'm happy to see restaurants like this sprouting up in the area. We pulled the menu up on our phones (the menu is digital only). It took some time to get the waiter to come around to take our orders (maybe 15 min after we sat down). For food, my friend ordered the breakfast of champions and I had the avocado toast, which came with hard boiled eggs but I was able to substitute for poached. The presentation of the food was nice and aesthetically pleasing. I thought the food tasted decent but I wasn't super impressed. Maybe with a more interesting salad dressing or if they dressed up the eggs with some seasoning. My friend was very happy with her meal though. Overall, I thought the place had a nice brunch menu and the prices were reasonable, albeit a little on the high side for the area ($16 for avo toast and $19 for eggs bacon and home fries). I do think the service could be more attentive though. I might come back to try their dinner.

Very nice restaurant out of the way from the hustle and bustle of mid Manhattan. Was able to get a reservation for 9 at a reasonable time on a Saturday night! Nice variety of food for all palate's! Very charming! Definitely a place to go!
