I recently hosted ~100 person holiday party for my company’s assistants at The Gray Mare and it was wonderful! The venue was so festive and cozy and the staff were incredibly friendly. The manager, Andy, was very accommodating to my requests to place signage, move around the furniture and use their back TV to play a presentation. The staff also arranged the food in a smart way by placing it on either end of the venue so everyone could have easy access. My only note is it would be nice to have chafing dishes since the food got cold pretty quickly at the front by the windows (it was snowing outside).

I had my engagement party in the back room and everything went as well as I could have asked for. Andy was extremely friendly and flexible to make this party work with both decorations and package options, and was a great bartender for the party. Highly recommend anyone throwing a 50-70 person to use the back room and work with the staff at gray mare, so friendly and accommodating! Also they catered us with some of their platters and everyone loved all the food, specifically the chicken tacos.

Bartender ( who also claimed to be the GM) was rude, obnoxious, disrespectful, and any other synonym you can think of. We were a group of 5, he chose to make a very poor “joke” ( none of us 5 thought it was a joke ). He left everyone feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. We walked out and will never be returning. Service so poor I can’t even rate the drinks and food.

I came for a birthday party with a large group. Would not recommend this venue- the GM behind the bar is extremely rude. The bar was empty and it took him 15 min to take our order. Instead he was taking shots with his homies (???). He served people who came after us and 15 min later we were still waiting for our drinks. This was after he either forgot or ignored my friend’s order that was placed previously. I asked him why it took so long and he ranted at me.
due to a poorly placed candle, the back of my hair caught on fire (like literally up in flames) and no one from the staff came to check on me or remove the candle. it was placed behind the ledge of a seating area and I know they saw it happen lol. the drinks were good though so whatever but now I need to get a haircut

My brother and I came here tonight with our cousins to celebrate our birthday. We had such a fun time in the front of the bar and then in the back room. Beautiful space. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the mac and cheese. The drinks were fantastic. They even had non alcoholic beers. Our waitress Hailey was the best. She was really sweet and attentive to all of us. Thank you so much for having us. We'll be back! 🤗
