What a gem of a restaurant this is! We've enjoyed every visit we've had. Delicious food, great service, and a comfortable vibe. Highly recommend. We will be back!

The food and vibe of the place was really fun! I have been a handful of times and have never been disappointed. The service is very hands-off and if you do need something you may need to flag someone down, but its not a big deal, just a very casual place. The only thing to consider is that some of the artwork on the walls is a little 'mature audience' in nature... I took my 13yo without any big concerns but I might reconsider bringing my little kids because of some of the art (no judgement, just a call out for those who would care to know). I will definitely be back!

We liked Grey Dog so much we went twice on our recent trip to NYC. It was a short walk from our hotel (Moxy LES) and one of the few places that had a full breakfast option: eggs, meat, pancakes, home fries. Everything we got was delicious and the service was too notch. Highly recommend and we will return on our next visit!

The Grey Dog has a fun atmosphere and great food! The Impossible Burger was great and they have an amazing happy hour menu.

We were able to bring our small dogs in a stroller with us to the restaurant! What a great benefit. Also the person at the wait stand realized that they had reserved a table up a flight of stairs which would have been difficult with the stroller so he switched it to a table in the front on the floor to accommodate us. The food and service were excellent. Thanks to the brilliant owners who understand pet lovers.

Love this place for breakfast. The best gluten free pancakes. Great environment. Servers where helpful and nice, and the food was great. It's my go to for breakfast when I'm in Manhattan.

Girls brunch date! I just love this menu - it's RIGHT. There's something for everyone, the combos make sense, it's healthy while still being so satisfying. The Breakfast Combo is the best in the city - the pancakes (add blueberries) are the right size and fluffiness. Hot sauce on the table without asking. Lovely.

Opentable Diner

The food was hit or miss dependent on what you order. The buttermilk fried chicken was essentially just a fried piece of chicken that was extremely tough. Vibe was good but couldn't quite put my finger on where they were trying to go with it. I couldn't tell who were employees or other guests.

We love going to grey dog. The food is delicious and the people there are always really nice. It's always a great time.

Nice spot for breakfast. Food was good and it wasn't too loud or crowded despite it being a small space with not a lot of room between tables. Would recommend for anybody looking for a nice relaxed meal to start the day.

Just ok for bar food. Avoid the shrimp overcooked and no flavor. Atmosphere was decent for a meet up with large group in the back. Small place, nothing to bring me back.

We have a reservation that was taken and confirmed multiple times however, the restaurant was closed when we got there.

Today (12/22/24), it took us over 5 minutes to flag down a waiter to provide us utensils and napkins that are usually on each table. We all noticed the portions were a bit less than usual. My friends and I have been here many times, which is why I was a bit disappointed.
